Hello, world!!!!

After a brief hiatus, I am back to bring you the latest info in entertainment and celebrity gossip!  So, without further a-do.....

Queen Latifah has opened up about her personal life in the July issue of Essence Magazine.  In it, she addressed the gay rumors and reveals that she was sexually abused as a child.  Queen says that she was sexually abused over a period of time by a teenager who served as her babysitter.  "He violated me," she said.  "I never told anybody; I just buried it as deeply as I could and kept people at an arm's distance.  I never really let a person get too close to me.  I could have been married years ago, but I had a commitment issue."  She says it was the death of her brother that, years later,  gave her the courage to finally speak up.  Now, with the help of therapy, Queen says she has come to terms with her past. 

As for the gay rumors, she told the magazine, "They want to make up stories and make me gay all the time and it's like, 'Keep running with it.' I've definetly been annoyed by it, but I learned a long time ago that it was pointless to say anything.  Everybody else can do the reading; I'll do the living." 

Well, alrighty then.

Earlier this month, Chris Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, filed an appeal to delay the singer's preliminary hearing.  Unfortunately for him, it has been DENIED!  No word on why.  I also hear that Rihanna has been officially subpoenaed to appear in court at the hearing, which is set for June 22, and testify against Chris.  Sucks to be Chris, right now. 

He's also been receiving death threats from a group called The Women's Protection Action League for allegedly beating up ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.  But, that hasn't stopped him from partying it up and kicking it courtside at Lakers games.  Rihanna, call off your goons, please. 

And to make matters even worse, or should I say, more interesting...an ex-girlfriend of Chris (whom you can still see hanging out with him from time to time), named Yami, has posted a video on her live chat site talking about the infamous night of February 7.  She claims that there are pictures of Chris that proves that Rihanna attacked him and left him bloody and bruised.  While she said she couldn't comment on why the two were arguing, she did mention that the only reason Rihanna had a bruise on her head was because she banged it on the steering wheel when Chris stopped the car.  She also claims that there were no bite marks on Rihanna, like the affadavit said.  I didn't post a link because her language is too explicit.  However, I'm sure you can google it...and when you find it, skip to about the 25:00 mark. 

Miss California is FIRED! Carrie Prejean has officially been de-crowned for not upholding her contractual duties.  Prejean almost lost her crown last month after #1) her stance and controversial comments on gay marriage and #2) the release of "racy" photos of her posing topless at the age of 17. Even still, Donald Trump stood by her.  However, at this point, it was Prejean's "unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization," according to the pageant's executive director, Keith Lewis.  Now Trump stands by Lewis.  However, Prejean and her lawyers say that accusation is bogus and they have the emails to prove it.  In fact, Prejean says that she was fired because she was asked to pose for Playboy and turned it down...and apparently that made people mad.  *pause* I'm sorry, did I miss something?....Are beauty queens supposed to pose for Playboy???  Anyway, first runner-up, Tami Farrell, will take her place.  And from what I hear, she's already doing better.

Wacko Jacko is being sued....again! This time, a New Jersey concert promoter sued the pop icon for $40 million for breach of contract.  According to the Associated Press, Allgood Entertainment claims it made a deal with Jackson's manager at the time to produce a summer reunion concert with entire Jackson family.  Under that deal, Jackson was not to perform anywhere before the event and for at least 3 months following.  But, according to the lawsuit, Jacko and his team broke that contract by signing on to do a series of concerts in London this summer.  Allgood managing partner, Patrick Allocco said, "We've given Michael Jackson and AEG every opportunity, publicly and privately, to resolve this matter and to date we have not heard from anyone."  In fact, the last time the two camps made contact was May 22.  And of course, reps for Jacko could not be reached. 

What I want to know is, why do people keep suing Michael Jackson? Ya'll now he ain't got no money!

Former "Girls Next Door" star and playboy model, Kendra Wilkinson is preggers!  She and fiance, NFL star Hank Bassett, are expecting their little bundle of joy on Christmas Day.  The couple is so excited that it almost seems ridiculous.  Hank says it's something that he and Kendra have talked about since they met.  So just how did they get the news that they were knocked up pregnant? It's quite funny actually.  Kendra says they found out during a layover at the airport in Amarillo, Texas.  "Hank was like, 'Hey, why don't we do a test to see, just real quick?" she told Us Magazine.  "I did it and we found out and we just sat on the baggage claim as everything hit us at once."   (Random time to pick to take a pregnancy test) So, who was the first person they told? You guessed it...Hugh Hefner!  "I called Hef because I had to tell him right away," Kendra said. "He was like, 'Oh my God!' and then he cried." And apparently Hef will be the baby's godfather! I'm sorry, but that's just way too creepy for me, considering that Kendra was one of Hef's girlfriends and broke up with him in October. 

The couple says if they have a boy, they will name him Hank Randall Baskett IV.  And if it's a girl, her name would either be Arianna and Kianna. "Whatever comes out of me, we'll love," Kendra said. QUOTE OF THE DAY! LOL!   The future Basketts plan on having 4 children and starting on #2 immediately following #1.   The happy couple will we June 27th at where else...the Playboy mansion.  Well, congrats...I guess.

And in other random news...

You probably don't care about this, but I do! The hit VH1 reality show "For the Love of Ray J" will be back for a second season!! YESSSS!!! Sorry...guilty pleasure.  Looks like Ray and season 1 winner, Cocktail, didn't hit it off too well.  Or maybe they did, and it just got old.  I mean, Ray J does change his women like he changes his underwear.   Anywho, VH1 is now casting women are willing to embarrass themselves on national TV looking for love. I can't hardly wait!!!! I still don't know what to do with myself on Monday nights since that show went off.  

OMG! Paris Hilton and her latest toy boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt have officially called it quits! Yeah, that's all I have on that one. Somebody, somewhere will care. TTYL!

Actress Jessica Alba has released an apology statement after being investigated by Oklahoma City authorities  for alleged vandalism.  In case you've been sleeping under a rock, Jessica and fellow activists reportedly went around the city gluing up posters of great white sharks on billboards and electrical boxes and other places.  Now, Jessica was not officially named in the police report, but she was "implicated" by several online blogs.  For example, a man by the name of White Mike, posted on Twitter "Just came back from OK! Had a blast tagging with a new friend.  Check out the pics with Jessica Alba's help here."  Mmmmm hmmmm. Jessica, girl, that's you! And that's just one of the pics.  Others show her in "the act."  She released this statement to Access Hollywood:

"I got involved in something I should have had no part of.  I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign.  I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this indicident."  

We forgive you, Jess....just don't let it happen again! lol

And while we're on the "save the animals" topic.  PETA has asked incarcerated rapper T.I. to pose nude for their "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" ads.  *blank stare* I'm sure girls all over the world are praying that he says yes. I wonder if he'll be wearing handcuffs in this ad.  I'm sorry...that wasn't nice. I love T.I. Really, I do. Don't really wanna see him naked, though. 

Other celebs that have participated in this campaign are Kimora Lee, Pamela Anderson, and Khloe Kardashian, among others.

TOO FUNNY!

Well, we all knew it was bound to happen.  Chris Brown and Rihanna has finally crossed paths.  They were both spotted at the Lakers vs. Magic game last night in Orlando.  Now I've seen pics of Chris hanging out at the games and the same with Rihanna.  However, this time, the ex-couple ended up courtside at the same game, at the same time...within feet of each other.  They both appeared to be enjoying the game and didn't seem to be uncomfortable at all.  According to theybf.com, rumors are circulating that the two disappeared at half-time and were spotted in the club area of the arena...together. 

All I have to say about this is....GO LAKERS!

A Malawi court has ruled in Madonna's favor in her fight to adopt a second child from that country.  According to the Associated Press, when it came to the decision on Madonna adopting 3 year-old Chifundo "Mercy" James, Chief Justice Lovermore Munlo said the material girl's "commitment to helping disadvantaged children should have been taken into account." 

Madonna is founder of Raising Malawi, a charity dedicated to feeding, educating, and providing medical care for some of Malawi's 1 million plus orphans. 

Madonna adopted her son, David, from Malawi last year.  The adoption for Mercy may not be final for some time.

Now, ya'll know how I'm not really a fan of Kim Kardashian, but it's a slow news day, so oh well.  In case you didn't know, a few years ago, Sonja Norwood, mother and manager of R&B singers Brandy and Ray J (Kim's ex-boyfriend and infamous sex tape co-star), sued Kim of stealing money from her during the time that she worked for the Norwoods.  That was back in 2006.  Well, Kim has finally coughed up the $120,000 that she allegedly stole.  Now, if you pay up, that means you were guilty in the first place, right? Yeah, well, anyway, I hear that Kim paid the debt with money from an endorsement deal she landed with Pepsi.  Womp womp. 

Here are just a few things going around the rumor mill....

R&B Singer Usher has officially filed for divorce from his wife of almost 2 years Cougar Tameka Foster Raymond. Apparently, the documents were filed Thurdsay in Atlanta.  There have been rumors about these two splitting up for almost a year now, but the couple has denied every one.  Now, I'm hearing that Usher and Tameka have actually been separated for a year.  According to In Touch, Usher packed up the rest of his things and moved out weeks ago. 

The couple, or ex-couple, have 2 sons, 18 month-old Usher V and 6 month-old Navyid.

Not that I'm being a hater or anything, but I soooooo hope this rumor is true.  With Tameka out of the way, I can finally make my move! lol  

So, Beyonce's daddy is at it again! Matthew Knowles has apparently told BET that Beyonce will not perform at the 2009 BET Awards if they insist on having former Destiny's Child member, Letoya Luckett perform also.   No word on what Beyonce has to say about this, but with that family...what Daddy says, goes! I'm curious to hear what Letoya has to say.

Last week, former BFF Kelly Rowland fired Beyonce's dad as her manager.  I'm not sure, but I hear that her and Beyonce's friendship is pretty much over.  They haven't been spotted together in a very long time either.  This always happens when one person becomes bigger than the group...and having daddy as manager doesn't help the situation either.

And while we're on the subject of the Knowles clan, a UK tabloid is reporting that Jay Z and Beyonce have no plans whatsover to have kids.  According to the tabloid, Jay and B want to "continue to build their fortunes by touring and recording music before turning their attention to family life."  I don't think I believe this one.

I'm also hearing whispers that baby sis, Solange Knowles, is dating Paris Hilton's ex, Benji Madden. This comes after pics of the two with Solange's son, Daniel, hit the internet. Hmmmmm...That could be interesting.  We shall see.

This is kind of old, but  it's too funny! It's all about the little boy!

Well, guys, not much happened over the weekend. So this will be short and sweet. I wasn't even going to post a blog today, but I happened to stumble across a story that was too shocking to pass up.

It has been revealed that Denzel Washington...THE DENZEL WASHINGTON...was once a heroin addict! *GASP* I'm not talking, Hollywood heroin addiction either.  Denzel was only 14 years old when he started!   According to Yahoo! News, one day, 20 year-old Denzel, was at his mother's hair salon when a local "prophetess" wrote a message on a piece of paper.  It said: "That boy is going to speak to millions of people."  That is what made Denzel clean up his act and enroll in college, where he aspired to be a doctor and then switched to a journalist.  Obviously, none of these worked out...and thanks to "the Prophetess," Denzel has gone on to make over 35 films and win 2 Oscar's.

I don't really know why I'm so surprised...but I am.  For some reason, I would expect this from Forest Whitaker before I would Denzel.  Oh, well. 

But, while we're on the subject...Forbes has released a new list of Hollywood's 10 Top-Earning actors.  And you might be a little surprised by it.  I know I was.

Nevermind that he has 6 movies to be released in the next two years...has he had anything out this year? And Brad *blank stare*, this ish is just unacceptable!  Number 9? Really?  If you weren't sitting at home playing Mr. Mom to Angie's kids while she's bringing home the bacon, maybe you would've been a little higher on the list and I would be a little more satisfied!  I'm disappointed in you, Brad!

And an update on a story I told you about last week.  It is OFFICIAL! Usher filed for divorce Friday morning in Fulton County Superior Court! There is a hearing set for later this month. Neither Usher nor Tameka Foster have released a statement.   *packing my suitcase and headed to Atlanta*

And to keep in the celebration spirit, I dug up a video from the very 1st Laker's NBA Championship!  Known as the Minneapolis Lakers, the 1949-1950 season ended with them beating the Syracuse Nationals in Game 6 of the finals.  Before the BAA and NBL merged to create the NBA in 1949, the Minneapolis Lakers were the reigning BAA Champions, beating out the Washington Captiols. 

Well, the scandal has finally come to an end.  Chris Brown has officially plead guilty to assaulting Rihanna. By enterting a guilty plea, Chris will serve no jail time and will be on probation for 5 years.  Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg also ordered him to perform six months of community service.  And since he is not a resident of California, the judge allowed him to do his service in his home state of Virginia, BUT, he cannot do it at churches or community centers. He must do the hard stuff like they do in California--cleaning up graffitti or roadside trash. He will also have to return to California to appear in front of a judge every 3 months and attend domestic violence counseling.  And that's not all...Chris and Rihanna--who entered the courtroom after Chris left and was not forced to testify--are ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from each other, except at industry events, in which case they only have to stay 10 yards away from each other.  And for the record, Rihanna didn't request a stay-away order, but the judge imposed one anyway.  Judge Schnegg told Chris, "I think it's commendable you took responsiblity for your conduct," and that she hoped "the terms and conditions of your probation will have some meaning. "  Rihanna spoke briefly, saying that after Chris' sentencing she might ask for its terms to be loosened.

Chris is set to be formally sentenced on August 5. 

Well Chris, your squeaky clean image has officially been smeared! *SMH* So sad.

It looks like "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is now "8 Minus Jon & Kate."   The reality stars and parents of 5-year-old sextuplets and 8-year-old twins announced on their show Monday, that they were indeed divorcing.  Like we didn't already know they were going down that road.  I mean, they made this big dramatic announcement that they were going to make an announcement on their show, like we've all been living under a rock and have no clue that the fire had burnt out in their relationship a long time ago. If you ask me, the shocker would've been that they were deciding to stay together.  Now that's an announcement, considering all the foolishness these two have been partaking in. 

Well, now that my rant is over...The couple has been on a rocky road since reaching celebrity status.  Both have been accused of infidelity, and both have denied it (Jon, you're shame for trying to deny it! We've seen you in the act, buddy!) and Kate has been labeled a controlling, over-bearing, you-know-what.   I don't know...I don't watch the show, but apparently "Jon & Kate" is TLC's most  watched series.  And they say the show must go on. "Jon & Kate" will be back on for another season.  Jon explained that they will interview separately and film different things.  I'll definelty be watching this time around!

But, man, I couldn't imagine being a single mom to 8 kids....not gonna happen! 

Legendary actress, Farrah Fawcett, is back in the hospital.  The "Charlie's Angels" star was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 and is currently in a southern California hospital.  Sources close to her say that she is "not doing well."   Ryan O'Neal, Fawcett's longtime love, is by her side and says that she has finally agreed to marry him.  He says he has asked her several times over the course of their relationship, but this time she said yes, even though she is "fighting for her life." According to Entertainment Tonight, right now, O'Neal is trying to arrange for their son, Redmond, to temporarily leave jail to see his mother for what could possibly be the last time.

So sad. We're pulling for you, Farrah!!

So, Sunday, blogger Perez Hilton thought he could talk slick to rapper will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas and he ended up with...well, a black eye!  Here's what happened...Hilton was a presenter at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto and Black Eyed Peas performed and won an award.   For whatever reason, Hilton, approached will.i.am afterwards and called him a "faggot." *blank stare*  Then someone sucker punched Hilton right in the eye! But, instead of calling the police, what did Hilton do?  He tweeted, of course! He logged on to his Twitter account and posted messages about his "assault" and begged for the police to come. 

"I'm in shock.  I need the police ASAP. Please come to the Soho Metropolitan Hotel now. Please."

"I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."

He claimed that his assailant was none other than will.i.am and his security guards.  will.i.am posted a video denying Hilton's story. 

Now, Toronto police have charged Black Eyed Peas manager, Liborio Molina, 36, with the assault.  Molina was ordered to appear at Old City Hall in Toronto for a hearing on August 5.

LOL! I bet you won't go talking crazy to anybody else, huh, Perez??

VH1 will give anybody a reality show!  Jessica Simpson is making her way back to reality TV in a new docu-series called "The Price of Beauty."  The cameras will follow the singer as she goes around the world searching for the definition of beauty in other cultures.  Shooting begins in July and the show will air sometime next year.  Um, okay.

And speaking of reality shows, Lindsay Lohan is in talks with Ryan Seacrest about a show that gives second chances to people who need them.  I don't really know what all this entails, and I honestly, I don't think I care enough.

Congratulations are in order for Matthew McConaughey (or McConaugheeeeeeeey as I like to call him) and his girlfriend, Camila Alves.  They are expecting baby #2! The already have an 11-month0old son, Levi.  Congrats!

And in sad news, television legend Ed McMahon has passed away after a long battle with cancer.  He died Monday morning at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center in California.  Ed, you never brought me my Publisher's Clearing House check...but I know you wanted to.  R.I.P.

So, last night, the BET Awards kicked off in Los Angeles.  And in the wake of Michael Jackson's untimely death, organizers did their best to rearrange the show in order to pay homage to King of Pop.  But, was it a success?  If you ask me, I say, it was well worth the try, but it was a little disappointing.  Even though, I never expect much from the BET Awards, I did expect them to do a tribute to MJ, which they did, but I expected so much more.   Many of the evening's performers scratched their original routines to incorporate their own tributes to MJ.  But, the biggest disappointment for me was that there was not a dance tribute to him.  I held on to my dream that Chris Brown would resurrect his career by surprising the world and popping up at the show to do a special dance tribute.  But, that dream was shot down! I hear Chris was planning to attend and perform in honor of Michael, but for some reason, at the last minute, he backed out.  Word on the street is, it's because Jay Z was there. I don't know if there's any truth to that.  But whatev.  And I just knew that Usher would be there to pay homage to his idol.  But, he released a statement saying that he was overseas and was not able to make it back in time.  He said he regrets that he had to miss it, but he will work on a MJ tribute as soon as he gets back. 

Like I said, I was disappointed that I stayed up so late (the show ran over 30 minutes to accomodate all the tributes) to watch, but since the change was so last minute for the organizers and performers, I decided to give them a pass. So, let's take a look back at some of the highlights and lowlights of the show...in no particular order.

The show's host, singer/comedian/Academy Award winning actor, Jamie Foxx, came onto the stage in full Michael Jackson attire and did his own dance version of "Beat It."  He cracked jokes about Michael and told the audience that they should "celebrate him" instead of mourning. He then successfully proceeded to moonwalk from one side of the stage to the other. He kept the jokes coming..."I see why Mike was always grabbing himself. These pants are too tight....!" Hilarious! 

In her first BET Awards performance, Keri Hilson donned the stage dressed as a female version of MJ.  Wearing flooding skiny jeans, sequined V-neck tee, leather jacket, and penny loafers, Keri sang her smash hits "Turnin Me On" and "Knock You Down."  She ended with a brief Michael Jackson imitation that left people thinking "WTH?"  And I'm probably the biggest Keri fan, but I thought she sounded terrible.  She looked cute. But, she sounded terrible.  I just think she was doing too much at one time.  The performance was just okay for me.  Keri, you're lucky I love you...I'm giving you an A for effort.

Jamie Foxx performed about 15 times last night.  In this pic, he had just finished a hot performance of his award winning song "Blame It" along with T-Pain and special guest, Travis Barker.  When I saw Travis come out, I pretty much went crazy! I loves me some Travis Barker!

Soulja Boy Tell 'Em performed his annoyingly catchy "Turn My Swag On."  *yawn*

I missed this performance, but the show's opener was a reunion of New Edition...and yes Bobby Brown was there too!!!! They performed Jackson 5 songs including, "I Want You Back."  I heard that because of what it was, the performance was hot, but the group sounded horrible.  I don't care.  I love New Edition and I will be tuning in when BET re-airs the show again...and again...and again...and again...(ya'll know BET wears stuff out). Thank goodness this performance was at the very beginning.

Ne-yo also performed about 15 times last night.  In fact, he and Jamie Foxx performed twice together.  They performed their collaboration, "Miss Independent (Remix)," and then they ended the show singing The Jackson Five's "I'll Be There."  Needless to say, Neyo pretty much had everyone in a trance when he sang MJ's "Lady in My Life." (Leave the hats on, Neyo.)

Ciara, oh Ciara.  She sang "Heal the World." I can't figure out why they didn't have her dance instead. This wasn't the worst.  But, it wasn't good either. 

Last year, Alicia Keys reunited several influential girl groups of the 90's.  So this year, after one of his many performances, Neyo did the same with male R&B groups and singers.  Keith Sweat, Guy, and Bell Biv Devoe took the stage for a medley of their most popular songs.  Now I'm sure some of them got on that stage, felt that rush and that energy, and decided right then and there that they were going to make a comeback.  Boy, I sure hope not.  While they were all the bomb when I was growing up, some things should be left in the 90s. 

I stayed up to see this performance! Lil Wayne, Drake, and the rest of Young Money took the stage to perform their hit song "Every Girl."  But, it wasn't what I needed it to be.  You couldn't hear the song, because every other word was bleeped out.  Not to mention, Lil Wayne's daughter and some of her friends got onstage to dance.  That may not sound like a problem, right?  Well it is when the song you're singing is talking about what you wish you could do to every girl in the world.  I thought it was tasteless and I was highly disappointed.  Poor judgment, Weezy.

The strange, yet soulful...and apparently sexy...Maxwell took the stage to sing his new single "Pretty Wings." I didn't hate it. Don't really know if I loved it, though. I just remember at the end of the song he said "Mr. Michael Jackson, fly away." Then he started flapping his wings  arms and then he ended with splits...and I fell out laughing!

And my favorite performance of the night was the tribute to the legendary O'Jays.  After they finally got Don Cornelius' long winded self to finally get off the stage, they surprised us all and bought out none other than a grown up Tevin Campbell!! Oh, I was excited! Tevin looked great! He no longer looked like someone's drunk uncle Kenny anymore! What?? I'm sorry, he's been looking rough these last few years! Anyway, after his song, Tevin introduced Tyrese, Trey Songz, and Johnny Gill as the young O'Jays...and hear me when I say, they killed it!!! Their medley of songs were nothing short of amazing. They ended their set, singing "Stairway to Heaven." They went out into the audience, stopped in front of the O'Jays and pretty much serenaded them.  Then the O'Jays took the stage. AWESOME!

And the biggest WTF moment of the night came from Beyonce.  I don't know what the heck this chick was thinking but...I can't even explain it.  She sang,"Ave Maria." First mistake.  It was the BET Awards. That song would've been acceptable at the Grammy's or the Oscar's, but not at the BET Awards.  Second mistake.  She wore a freaking weird looking wedding dress costume! She looked like a cake topper....or a Christmas ornament...like the little angel you put on top of the Chrismas tree. I don't know, but it was a mess.  The whole performance was.  She sounded outstanding, but I was bored out of my dang mind! I was hoping that any minute she broke out into a dance number or something....ANYTHING! I'm not on the Beyonce bandwagon at all, but MAN, I expected more out of her.  Next time, leave Beyonce at home and bring Sasha Fierce, instead.  I never want to see that foolishness again.  In case you missed it...

Other moments from last night's show....

15 year old Ke Ke Palmer proved to the audience that she was not too young to know about Michael Jackson.  She broke out singing one of his songs and blew everyone away.  Get it Ke Ke! Love her!

Estelle and Letoya Luckett took notes from the legendary Chaka Kahn on how to reach her superstar status. I guess Beyonce and Papa Knowles won the war, because Beyonce performed and Letoya didn't.

BFF's Keyshia Cole and Monica performed "Trust."  Keyshia surprised the heck out of me...she actually sounded pretty good live.

Lil Wayne accepting his award for Best Male Hip Hop Artist.

Taraji P. Henson, Tyrese Gibson, and Ving Rhames re-enacted scenes from their film "Baby Boy." I loved it, until they kept dragging it out.  Plus, I think Ving Rhames was drunk. Maybe that was vodka in that kool-aid pitcher.

Queen Latifah came out during an amazing performance by gospel queens Mary Mary.

A tearful Janet Jackson, escorted by Jamie Foxx, made a surprise visit on stage at the end of the show to thank everyone for their love and support.  She told the audience, "To you, Michael was an icon. To us, he was family."  Janet and Joe Jackson were the only Jacksons to attend the show because "it would be too painful" for the entire family to attend. Joe Jackson sat in the front row during the entire show.
