In case you missed it!

Hey guys! I've been gone for awhile, but now vacay is over and it's back to the basics! A lot has gone on over the last few weeks since I've posted a blog, but I'll just recap the last week or so.  Continue reading to find out what some of our favorite celebs have been up to. 

This blog is filled with foolishness!!! However, there are some feel good stories.  I decided to play with your emotions and mix them all in together. So, let's get to it.

 

By now, you've all heard that NFL baller Shawne Merriman was arrested over Labor Day weekend for allegedly choking MTV reality star Tila Tequila. And I'm also sure that all of you are already tired of hearing about this he say/she say.  But, for those of you who have been sleeping under a rock, here's the mess story.

Supposedly, Tila had been at Shawne's (who is said to be her boyfriend) house partying and give him lapdances all night.   When she tried to leave, he choked her.  So, she placed him under citizen's arrest.  He was arrested and released later that day.  She was taken to the hospital, with no physical injuries, and released later that day. 

But, Shawne says that Tila was drunk and he was trying to prevent her from driving under the influence.  But, Tila said, on her Twitter page, that she is allergic to alcohol and cannot drink.  Hence, the irony of her name "Tila Tequila."  So, basically they're both calling each other liars. 

Shawne's lawyer said that there were more than a dozen people at that house and "witness after witness after witness will back up his story 100 percent."

Shawn released this statement:

"On September 6, 2009 the San Diego Sheriff's Department responded to a citizen's complaint that was initiated by Tila Ngyuen (aka Tila Tequila).  I was taken into custody based upon that complaint.  At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided. 

We would all do our best to help a friend if we considered their actions to be detrimental to their personal safety.  I in now way caused any harm to Ms. Ngyuen, however, paramedics were called and she was examined but no injuries were reported.  She was released and has since returned to Los Angeles, California.

There have been no charges filed against me.  I want to thank the San Diego Sheriff's Department for their professionalism.  I will continue to cooperate fully with the Department, and I look forward to clearing my name regarding these false allegations.  I want to put this behind me so I can continue to focus on a succesful season for the San Diego Chargers."

And here's Tila's lawyer's official statment:

 Shawne Merriman and his advisors have decided that the best defense is a good offense, attacking Tila Tequila in the press with a lot of calculated spin to cover up his illegal and indefensible actions. Fortunately, we as a society will not tolerate a 6′4″, 270 pound all-pro NFL linebacker physically assaulting a young lady who is 4′11″ and 93 pounds. It is never justifiable to brutally assault, choke, strike and imprison a woman. Once the truth is fully revealed, Mr. Merriman's fantastic story of how he was trying to keep Ms. Tequila safe will be completely discredited. No one, especially a woman, should ever have to endure what Mr. Merriman did to Tila Tequila. 

So who do you believe?  I'm not going to say I'm siding with anyone, because I don't know what really happened.  But, I will say this. I don't trust that Tila Tequila.  Something about her just doesn't sit well with me.  And wasn't she claiming that she was pregnant by Ray J a few months ago? Where's that baby? I'm just sayin...

And Shawne, if you did choke that girl, man up and admit to it.

 

Well, those sneaky little devils!  Christina Millian and singer/producer The Dream have ran off and got married....Vegas style!!! The couple, who denied their engagement for a loooong time,  tied the knot last Friday at midnight at the legendary Little White Chapel Wedding. And talk about a shotgun wedding!  TMZ reported that Christina rented her wedding dress, shoes, and veil for $200 and The Dream rented his tux (shoes, tie and vest included) for $100.

Ladies and Gentleman, Mr. and Mrs. Terius Nash! 

Now, I wonder if they jumped the broom so quickly because of those preggers rumors going around.   We shall see in a few months.  Either way congrats to the happy couple. 

Oh, and in case you didn't know, Christina was once engaged to Nick Cannon, who is now married to Mariah Carey.  And The Dream was once married to singer Nivea, who is now pregnant by rapper Lil Wayne, who also has another baby on the way by actress Lauren London, and rumored to have another one on the way by an indian stripper in California.

Rapper Ludacris hosted his annual LudaDay weekend in Atlanta last weekend.  And he was in a very giving mood.  The Ludacris Foundation teamed up with a local dealership to give away 20 cars to 20 residents in need.  Hopefuls were asked to write a 300-word essay explaining why they deserve a car.  About 4,000 essays were submitted to the Ludacris Foundation.  But, Luda could only pick 20.  Each of the used cars that were given away included free gas for 30 days.  But, the winning contestants were responsible for tags, registration, tax, and insurance.

"People are getting laid off, and now are looking for jobs," Ludacris said.  "To be efficient, you need some transportation of your own to get there.  That's why I wanted to give back to those who need it."

Well, that's just awesome!

 

Jermaine Jackson announced the starting lineup for the Michael Jackson tribute concert that will be held in Vienna on September 26th (the day after my birthday!!).  He told reporters that Chris Brown will headline the show, along with Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole, and Sister Sledge. 

BUT, Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige both, has said that they didn't agree to do anything!  Chris' publicist told E! News that "Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show."

Now, see, Jermaine, that's how you burn bridges.  Now, I'm sure Chris and Mary J. would've been more than willing to do this, but you went about it all wrong brother. But you know what they say when you ASSume....

 

Ok, I searched through pages and pages of pics and this is one of the least ridiculous of this man that I could find. 

Anyway, remember Sisqo of Dru Hill? Well, it seems that Mr. Thong Song himself has gotten himself into a little pickle.  A woman by the name of Jamila Farid claims that Sisqo fathered her son 10 years ago, when she was just 14 years old! But, Sisqo has since denied her claims.  Here's what Jamila told theybf.com:

My name is Jamila Farid and I just came out with my life story (in two major local magazines and news paper) regarding my son Ian, with singer Sisqo.  Our son is now 9 years old about to turn 10 in November.  Of course, the singer does not admit to his son and I am very tired of it.  My goal is NOT to be famous or get rich of my story, but to finally have him to stand up to his son and stop denying it! I currently love in Switzerland and our son was conceived when Sisqo was here 10 years ago touring with Dru Hill.  I am now 25 years old.  I have been trying to get in contact with Sisqo or his people, but he keeps denying it, so my alternative is to just put it on blast until he steps up.  God bless him, but dear Sisqo it IS your SON! Thank you young black and fabulous for helping me and our son to get this case solved."

What do you think?? Now my name ain't Maury, but I think: Sisqo, you ARE the father! And you know you shame for messing with a 14 year old girl! Now, I know you had beef with R. Kelly, but if there is anything that you could've learned from him, it's to check ID first!!!

 

Congratulations to Tisha Campbell-Martin and hubby Duane Martin! The 40 year old actress gave birth to the couple's second child on Tuesday.  Baby Ezekiel Czar Martin wasn't due until the 21st of this month, but he burst into the world at 10:20 a.m., 13 days early weighing a whopping 9 lbs, 9 oz. Not to mention, he is 23 inches long. 

 

 

The couple has an 8 year old son, Xen.

Congrats again!

 

 

And if this ain't foolish, I don't know what is. 

So, singer/rapper T-Pain performed and DJ'd at a club called Rehab in Vegas for Labor Day.  He decided that was the perfect time to take shots at rapper Jay Z for criticizing the use of AutoTune on his hit single "D.O.A. (Death of AutoTune)."  You know, that's the lil thingymajig that rappers use to make it sound like they can sing. Well, T-Pain made it popular again. Anyway,  T-Pain got on the mic and said that a "59 year old shouldn't be trying to dictate what's hot in rap." So petty...lol.  He also said that rappers are trying to be like him by using autotune anyway.  But, Jay's good buddies, Fabolous and Rihanna, were in the audience that night. So, Fabolous tweeted that T-Pain was going in on Jay Z and pretty much added fuel to the fire.  Then that fire spread into a blaze between Fabolous and T-Pain, as word of tweets posted by T-Pain about Fabolous started going around.  So, what does Fab do? He tweets about T-Pain of course! He even tried making it a trending topic, lol.  But, then he found out that the tweets posted about him, supposedly by T-Pain, was not from T-Pain at all.  That wasn't even T-Pain's real Twitter page. So, Fab says, "ooops..." LOL!

Now how stupid is that!? Twitter beef?? Really?  You guys are adults...rich adults. Do better!

And let me just point out that that picture of Jay Z and T-Pain was taken at Summer Jam back in June, when T-Pain joined Jay on stage during Jay's performance of "D.O.A."  Funny...Jay Z called it "awkward."  And T-Pain thought that Jay Z was "vouching for him" with that song.  Wow.  Just foolish.
