The Scoop!
Gary Coleman hospitalized, Gilbert Arenas suspended indefinetly, Shaq gets sued, Keyshia Cole and Katy Perry engaged (not to each other), and pics from the 2010 People's Choice Awards! All that and more when you continue reading.
Gary Coleman was taken by ambulance to an LA hospital Wednesday after complaining that he didn't feel well. Gary's agent, Robert Malcolm, says that the 41-year-old actor had been doing interviews to complain about a scene in his upcoming movie, then went back to his room to rest. He said he didn't feel well and was taken to the hospital for tests. Malcolm says the tests were negative and that Gary is alert and feeling fine.
Gary has had two kidney transplants in the past. His new movie is called "Midgets vs. Mascots." Gary has said before that this film is "worse than any film school project" and "I shouldn't be in this movie in the first place, but the mortgage keeps coming." It is set to debut in April at the Tribeca Film Festival. LOL...I don't even wanna know.

Hanes has kicked Charlie Sheen to the curb! The company ended its advertising campaign that features Charlie Sheen because of the domestic violence charges currently filed against the actor.
The Hanes company spokesman, Matt Hall, told the Associated Press, the seriousness of the allegations against Charlie made the decision necessary.
"It's a pretty standard, straightforward call when somebody who's in your commercials is arrested on suspicion of something of this magnitude," Hall said. "And we would suspend the ads both for the company and, really, for Mr. Sheen and his family as well. Given the publicity, it makes sense to not air those ads during that time."
Chris...Tiger...meet Charlie Sheen.

We all knew that Keyshia Cole was preggers by NBA baller Daniel "Boobie" Gibson. Well another round of congrats are in order...the couple is now engaged! I hear Boobie popped the question to Keyshia at midnight on New Years Eve. Rumor has it, he flew the jeweler out to his home 10 days before he proposed, and spent over an hour customizing the rock for his boo. Keyshia's rep says the engagement was "an absolute surprise" and "when he asked her to marry him, she was flabbergasted. He presented her with the ring and her mouth dropped in amazement."
I'm also told that Keyshia is having a baby boy.
Congrats to the happy couple!!!!
I can't wait to hear what Mama Frankie has to say!

Keyshia Cole isn't the only one getting married. Katy Perry and Russell Brand are tying the knot too!
The couple met last year during the MTV Video Music Awards and have been smitten ever since. The British comedian proposed to the "I Kissed A Girl" singer in a tent at the foot of a mountain, while they were vacationing in India over the holidays.
Congrats to them as well! (Even though I don't know what she sees in him)

And in today's edition of "Athletes Gone Wild..."
Washington Wizards baller Gilbert Arenas is back in the news...again. This time, he got what was coming to him.
After pulling a gun on his teammate in the locker room last week, then claiming it was a joke and issuing an apology statement, then making gun signals to his teammates on the court during Tuesday night's game, the SHOOTING guard (get it?...LOL) was suspended indefinetly...without pay.
NBA Commissioner David Stern originally said that he would wait until Glibert's criminal investigations were complete, but I guess he just couldn't wait anymore. He issued this statement:
"Although it is clear that the actions of Mr. Arenas will ultimately result in a substantial suspension, and perhaps worse, his ongoing conduct has led me to conclude that he is not currently fit
to take the court in an NBA game," commissioner David Stern said in a statement on Wednesday. "Accordingly, I am suspending Mr. Arenas indefinitely, without pay, effective immediately pending the completion of the investigation by the NBA."
Dang homie. Well, I gues you can only get away with certain things for so long. *shrug* Oh well.
Meanwhile, here's Gilbert's new PETA ad.
Alrighty then.

Well, hey, since we're talking about Gilbert, might as well talk about his rival Shaq too!
Shaq is being sued by a model named Vanessa Lopez. Why, you ask? Vanessa claims that Shaq has been harrassing her since September of last year. Allegedly, the two carried on a 5 year on again-off again relationship (the same length of time he was frolicking with Gilbert Arenas' baby's mama) and Vanessa thought she was pregnant. Turns out she wasn't, but according to her, that is why Shaq has been harrassing her.
Vanessa has even hired Gloria Allred, the same lawyer representing Rachel Uchitel in the Tiger Woods scandal, to represent her.
But, get this...this isn't the first time Vanessa has tried to get in a baller's pants pockets. She's had run-ins with Delonte West in 2006 and Kenyon Martin in 2007. Here's how TMZ is reporting it:
Back in 2006, Delonte West -- then with the Boston Celtics-- called security on Lopez, claiming she refused to leave his Orlando hotel room.
Police were called to the room -- where Lopez, according to the police report, then accused West of making unwanted sexual advances toward her.
West acknowledged that he had slept with Lopez in the past -- but claimed he never hit on her that night. West said Lopez tried to seduce him -- but he rejected her because he had another woman coming over.
Police ultimately removed Lopez from the premises.
Lopez's run-in with Kenyon Martin went down in 2007 -- when the NBA star's business manager called police, claiming Lopez somehow got hold of Martin's credit cards. According to the police report, the manager claimed Lopez blew hundreds of dollars -- minimum -- without Martin's permission.
SMH. Are you seriously making a career out of this?? Now, I ain't sayin she's a gold-digger, but...you know the rest.
And I'm not sayin Shaq is innocent either. According to RadarOnline.com, in 2008 an Atlanta hip hop artist named Alexis Miller was granted a restraining order against the baller for allegedly threatening to hurt her after their fling ended.
SMH. Tiger...meet Shaq.

No criminal charges will be filed against Loleini Tonga, the fiancee of the late Chris Henry. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said that there was no evidence that Loleini was driving reckless or at an excessive speed in the tragic incident that claimed the NFLer's life. In a statement just released, authorities said "investigators determined she was driving no faster than 23 mph."
Chris Henry's death was ruled accidental, caused by blunt force trauma to the head.
