the latest episodes are bullshit. very sad! bring back the real nature of lorelai, her behaviour is totally weird. And what the hell is luke doing? He's not the guy for such things.. he changed much since the first 4 seasons. I miss him!

Call me crazy but that was the best episode this season so far. I bow to the master Rosenthal because he had the guts to mock the show and that relationship. Honestly Rosie you rock !! 100 ways how to NOT show a relationship and you mastered them all. Thank you ! You gave us JJs the best mocking material out there and showed us what a freaking joke that couple is.
You put every romantic cliché in that episode. The corny music in the background when our lovey-dovey perfect for each other couple was at the restaurant. The really beautifull looking fake Eiffel Tower in the background and of course our couple had to share a kiss when the sun starts to rise behind the Tower.
Of course they had to share an I love you but why just one - no make it three. Just throw them out there like they mean nothing. Wait wasn't that your intention ;)
And last but not least. Our couple had to share the best sex known to man. Just too damn bad Chris our 2 minute man struck again.
Waking up, counting the spots on the ceiling (boy those two have fun with each other), searching for food in the streets of Paris, going back to the hotel room, having the most amazing sex in the world, taking a shower, getting GQed up and heading out for the restaurant again - ALL that in ONE hour. Wow so the sex was great then eh - laughing out loud here !

And by the way - thank you for all those nice anvils in that episodes ;)

Actually I blame Amy Sherman-Palladino. She set the ball rolling on her way out the door. It was the big f-you to the fans, network and everyone else. It's like who cares about poor Luke lets just waste two years of Lorelai and Luke. Let's just have her sleep with Christopher and get married to the scumbag, all because he has money now.

I stopped watching the show after the first episode of this season. I now watch Friday Night Lights.

Look like I have written and said before there is no bigger fan of GG than me but please where Luke and Lor are concerned GET OVER IT! And if your true fans you like me will continue to watch and I hope the writers don't put the axe to LC. Geez, I was more upset over the Rory and Jess twist than this. Even now I get frustrated over that turn and when Jess came back to inspire Rory to return to school that one episode I had hope that it would have been more. But I am over that now, but just in case Heroes doesn't workout keep Jess in mind. Hey why knock Chris. He did not jut comeback this episode he is there now for Rory and little by little he is growing. Get over it, this is what real people do when we make mistakes we try our hardest to correct those that hurt the ones we love. Chris did hurt Lor but so did Luke or did you block that out of your minds. Remember her crying and pleading for him to make a choice and remember he did. He did not choose her. That was damage too. No real man sit around for all his life for that one and whene the time comes flakes out. That is sad and to me disgusting. I had hoped that he would swoop Lor up and elope with her. I waited and waited and waied and she walked away, I hated it to the bone but I knew she made the right choice. Love doesn't move becuase of circumstance, it moves inspite of them. Loved Luke but he didn't get that. Every guy should get that. Chris did and he got Lor. Beautiful by any standard!

I nearly cried when I read what is going to happen...the JJs had to wait so long to see Luke and Lore finally come together and now?

I can't believe it. I just can't. you destroyed everything with this episode. The 'I never really loved anyone until luke' speech in partings. the god damn 2 years LL relationship. you took everything from us. It's so painful. byebye GG. walk this way without me. you just killed everything with this episode. this is not the show I fell in love with. Thats destroying characters and the time we walked the way with them. this is cruel. I'll go. this was too much. kill the show! don't watch the episode people. it's awful and disgusting. Christopther is a character who wasn't there for the mother of his eldest daugther or his daughter for most of their lives. the fact that we're supposed to be leave that he's good enough to be lorelai's husband and stay with her and g for the rest of their lives shocks and angers me. luke is the one that is supposed to be with Lor and Chris will have to relize this as will the writers.

I used to watch GG episodes over and over agian and now i can barely watch them one time. This LC stoyline they are tryign to sell and force on us is rediculous. You just cant disreagard 10 years of LL history. I know cant. But having LC married to me, is like the worse possilbe thing that could ever occur and sadly its actually happening.

I'm liking this show less and less. Not that anyone actually cares on The CW.

I think Lorelai and Luke need to get off their asses and get back together. Luke and Lor and made for each other. Lor and Chris are a thing of the past. They have a history and i get that but... Chris isn't the one we love.

Paris is a wonderful city and is worth the travel. I was so lucky to visit it last September and I posted on this blog from the Centre Pompidou library. Sorry, I know no one is interested, but that was so fun and cool.
About the marriage, it can't be legal (but I guess these writers don't care). In Europe you can't get married at the last moment. You need a stack of papers and documents.

Since episode 3 my longest Gilmore Girls hiatus has started. I refuse to watch this crappy story line. Come on who really believes that Lorelai suddenly fell in love with Christopher. Oh I totally forgot he matured in the last years. That's the reason why he wnated to ship off his 4 years old daughter to Paris all on her own. And he's such a good daddy for Rory. Making up 20 years of absence in her life by spending money.
There is definitely no reason in the world that could make me believe in LC.

I just want to extend my CONGRATULATIONS to the writers and staff of GG for effectively making the show unwatchable. Thank you for making Nov. 14 officially the DARK DAY of the fans as we mourn the death of our beloved show.

Pillow Pants and Rayanne, to take your statements right back at you, 7th Heaven still generates more interest than most of the shows on this network and thats after brutal treatment over the last few months (6 month long cancellation, last minute renewal, 1st night change in 10 years). So for ANYONE to call the show a success by accident is out of the loop. The Nielsens are not the best sample for ratings but they work. I know PLENTY about how they work and I read them every day. Someone just seems to be in denial about how the Nielsen's end up treating Veronica Mars. And may I use the word ACCIDENTALLY there, or not? It seemed to be used as an attack to me...not sure.

I viewed the coments made by everyone before me and I must say as a fan of the show and a male (if that matters) I was also disappointed at the Luke and Lor turn. But please as a guy, Luke had his chance. I hated how the show took Rory's virginity which was so inspiring and shredded it in one season. That I thought was cheesy and not called for. But as for Luke this is real life. If he wanted her he would fight for her and would'nt allow a new found kid to spoil that, especially with someone who has a child also. I mean she would understand. Chris wanted Lor he needs her and he would give all to have her. Which female doesn't want an equally balanced relationship. Hey Chris made up for his mistakes and he looks like a guy I want to be. This should have been live chat. Luke, well he just turned into the guy who watches life pass by which he always has done from since the shows inception, trust me I know. Lor made the best choice get over it!

I hate Chris and Lorelai together. I think they're moving too fast and shouldn't get married. That's all I have to say about that.

Hopefully Rosie did his homework and checked some facts about US citizens marrying in France especially if it's spontanous. I know it's TV and who cares about reality but this thing is so freaking illegal even Chris couldn't buy his way out of this one.
The season started promising because I really liked the first two episodes but whatever went wrong with the writers since that I hope they can find their way back.
Everything after episode 2 was mostly boring, sickening and a waste of this season.
The whole Lor/Chris "relationship" is just beyond words and tomorrow will be my second dark day this year concerning the show. Yeah sure Lor loves him, is happy with him - who're kidding with that crap ? He changed and became a better man, father and now husband ? Excuse me but I'm not buying it and I'm pretty sure he's going to show his real face once Lorelai is talking to Luke again.
Luke and his storyline is the only thing I'm looking forward to but I kind of doubt he's even in the episode tomorrow night. Scott Patterson is amazing this season and it's a shame we didn't see as often as we should be.
People complain about the Luke/Lorelai fans that they're only concentrated on LL but it's the Gilmore Girls - what do you people call what they try to stuff down our throats now ? It's the Lor and Chris show. Where is Rory or better what's her storyline ? She at least had a decent story during the LL relationship in season 5 and 6 - what does she have now ? Most of the screentime is dedicated to Lor and Chris. Ratings are going down - doesn't that tip you off a bit ? No one wants to see them together. Ship Chris to Fiji already. Give Lor her brain back and make her a whole LorELAI again.

this is beyond cheesy and predicatable...its just plain boring...i just hope lorelai stops acting like she's overdosing on speed.

What I don't understand is how this show became all about Lorelai's romantic life. And how a woman who left her parents home at 16 with a baby to build a life on her own suddenly became this weak ghost that only works with a man at her side. And I really don't care if she chooses Luke or Christopher. It would be the same crap if the writers don't bring back that shining independent woman whe loved for several seasons.

And why we still didn't have a scene with Rory and Richard at Yale? What's the point of she being one of his studants if we don't get a chance to see them together?

And, finally, will the troubador ever come back to Stars Hollow?

I'm only watching on the off chance we get some Luke, April and Lane, maybe Rory will be fun also, I can do without the C&L Paris trip and the show going down this road, Lorelai would have been better hanging on to Luke's bumper than thing Chris' Volvo on this trip!

Okay, I love this show, but this season has been pretty weak. I loved lor and luke. They were ment to be. But Lor and Chris...I hate chris with all my heart, I swear. Not to be mean. Yea sure we should be happy because Rory can finally know her dad, but if you go and watch the 5th season of GG, Luke and lor were so cute together.

From last weeks preview of tomorrows episode it might go bad....by the way lor looked on her face when Chris said something. And I want it to go so bad. I hate her with Chris.

There is absolutely no way I will watch tomorrow night. Every episode I've watched so far has been incredibly disapointing with the way Lorelai is made to look and with the general direction of the show (and hardly any Luke scenes). Watching Lorelai marry C would probably make it where I can't even watch the show ever again.

And they do post stuff about 7th Heaven, just not as regularly. There is a post about Ruthie's return from last week. Why don't you go whine over there?

This season of GG makes me sick...honestly. I'm more interested in talking about Reverend Camden's health crisis, and Ruthie's return to the show last night than about the horrible turn Stars Hollow is taking.

Why won't the CW Source post about 7th Heaven on Monday mornings, yet they do it with the other shows? I'm hoping the fact that 7th Heaven was one of the top 4 most watched shows last week on the network must imply that no one's watching. And speaking of shows no one's watching, I'll bet $100 that there will be a post on Veronica Mars come Wednesday morning! Go figure...
