I think the one that deserved to win was Chelsea. She was the one who showed more professionalism in everything she did, as well respect and dedication towards the people and the show.

Others showed how much lack of character and stage experience they have. Behaving like brats and doing things and comments that really showed their irresponsible and unprofessional behavior. Shame of them especially Melissa Smith and the winner Asia. They acted like divas when they are in show business nobody yet.

None of them had fantastic voices to begin with. They could all benefit from voice lessons but, they all had nice voices, including Asia. And, she was DEFINITELY the best dancer and had the best personality by far!!!!!

I liked Melissa R at first but I agree with Asia she is fake and shallow and doesn't have much in her brain, she is not independent and have not a mind of her own. We know she is a teenage mother okay, calm down!! Let me just say this: She wasn't the first and she definitely won't be the last. Half of the people writing in have been or probably are teenage mothers or fathers themselves or was born of one. I know what yall thinking, I must have a child that's why I'm saying that. Why Asia was picked Comment...
First I want to say that Asia has the kind of looks that are 50/50. Some shots of her look decent and others look a Habanera hot mess. Everyone keeps askin' "Why they picked Asia?" Isn't it obvious? Asia would not present any competition as far as looks go to the group. They would be able to get someone who wasn't a threat(looks-wise), someone who was talented enough(dance-wise), and someone with a more obvious ethnic difference to spice up the group. With that said, now why would they pick Melissa R. or Chelsea(who by the way if either of them had won I would have been happy)?? They are all around beautiful and both of them look better than anybody in the whole friggin' group. Plus, they could sing the whole group off the stage. Asia won off of her dancing because they are nothing more than a dance group to me anyway. The singing didn't matter cause don't seem like nobody but Nicole sing anyway. If you still don't get what I'm saying then answer me this question. Would you bring a rookie into your group(Melissa R. or Chelsea) who looks better than any one of you, who sings better than anyone of you, has possibly more sex appeal than you, and who could dance just as good as anyone one of you. (Now in Chelsea's case she couldn't dance as good, but if she did I believe she could've beat out Melissa R. hands down). It shouldn't have took you more than 2 nanoseconds to answer that question. No way in (you know) should have been the answer. Movin' on....

i am dissapointed in the results. the judges has clearly made a wrong decision. I admired more of Melissa R. and Chelsea. i really dislike asia. especially the whole tapping thing on the microphone. that really bugged me. also i dont like how she was ALWAYS complaining, she complained more then all the girls put together! i don't like her vocals at all!

I am so happy for Asia! She was the best all around performer, commerical, pictures. I think the judges made the right choice. She is a New Yorker thats great. Melissa R. should have really won. when i found ou that melissa didn't get it, i was shocked. totally in awe :0. Chelsea could've had a chance but I knew that wasn't going to happen. I know I'm joining this late but I want to share with you how much I enjoyed the show, I loved Robin too! She inspired me a great deal (i'm older than most of you guys, i imagine most of you who watched the show to be under 25 right? in any case, I just thought Asia was the full package, a great dancer and singer and a kind-hearted girl too. I'm glad she won! The other 2 finalists were good too. It was a tough call but I think the best girl, Asia, won.

I beleive the show let the audience think that Milessa R. was going to be the winner along with many others. However with that last performance Asia really nailed it, however to be fair the other (2) where given slow songs. It really is no surprise that Asia won. She was clearly the scankiest person in the competition and had the least talent of all so she was bound to win.
She is clearly does not care very much for her child, if she did she'd be at home looking after her. And lets not forget the stellar example that she is setting for the PCD young and impressionable fans, that it is okay to go out and get yourself knocked-up when you are still a teenager.
Chelsea was far to classy and talented for that group so I'm glad she didn't win and look foward to her solo career. Melissa R would do well on her own, as would many of the other girls that got the fick for this talentless, generic, plastic, ugly ....... well, I'd better hold my tongue.

Hi, I want to say the show completey had my attention from the first to the last episode. Yes, Melissa R was a great singer and dancer but she was very transparent and untrue to herself and to the other girls and being part of a group takes a geniune personality and I believe that of the three finalist Asia is the one with the total package she can sing,dance, be a teenage parent and still follow her dream ..there is nothing wrong with wanting and having it all as long as you BALANCE and remember that no matter what her child comes first. Chelsea was also a great performer but still need more dancing experience. With that all said..I want to say "CONGRATULATIONS" to Asia...WAY TO GO GIRL!

Asia won fair because she was very good at dancing and chelsea was good and will get a carrer as a singer but in the PCD group only nicole sings and chelsea will not be able to so her talents

I don't think Asia should have won, she doesnt have the personality to be in a group with other girls. She was fighting a lot, she had negative energy, and in a group ur suppose to be positive, and supportive..she is none of these things. I can see her clashing with the members and probably end up leaving or getting kicked out of the group.

When I started watching the competition, Asia was really the only one the stood out the most to me and I paid more attention to her than the other girls. Unlike some people, I didn't really care about her arguments with the other girls and other stuff outside of her peformances. I don't think Asia is the best singer and she may need to work on it, but she's only going to be a background singer in the first place. Her dancing skills were great and overall I think she did have what it took to win the competition. When it came down to Melissa R. and Asia, I did think that Melissa was going to win because I loved her skills too and she was great, but when Asia won, I was really happy for her. This competition also opened doors for Melissa R., Chelsea, and the other girls so don't worry about your favorite not winning because they'll probably come out with their own little solo thing or whatever and surprise us. So, CONGRATS to Asia for winning and congrats to Melissa R. and Chelsea for making it to the top three.

For everyone who is saying stuff about Asia... if you don't like her, then okay. I can't make you like someone, but you don't have to take this whole competition so seriously. Asia won, but think about it. Nicole is the lead singer and sings 99% of the time. Sometimes Melody comes in and sings a little bit. You probably won't hear Asia sing and who says you have to pay attention to her in the first place? I know a lot of you think Melissa R. should've won, but by saying it over and over again isn't going to make her the next Pussycat Doll. Just try to deal with the fact that Asia proved something to the judges that the other girls didn't and that she is apart of PCD. Also, a lot of you are bringing Asia's daughter in the picture and this and that which proves that you don't like her for other reasons. Who cares about her personal life. Instead of focusing on how she lives her life, try to focus on her peformances next time.

A lot of people on here wanted Melissa R. to win and I know I can't really change your opinion on her, but you have to realize that she wasn't sure if she wanted to be in the music industry or apart of the Pussycat Dolls. Sure, she made it far because she was good, but there were other girls in the competition who wanted to be apart of the Pussycat Dolls way more than she did. People say that she was the nicest on the show, didn't cause any problems, didn't make fun of anybody, but that isn't true. For an example... she made fun of Asia's accent on how she pronounced "very" as "revy." That wasn't nice. Asia's not the only one in the world who pronounces words the way she does and if she had a fan who talked like Asia, what is she going to do? Criticize them? I'm not saying that I hated Melissa R. I honestly thought that she was going to win because she is "good," but in the end I think the best person won. Asia, good job and and as for Chelsea, she is amazing and I think she has what it takes to be a solo artist.

First, all three girls were talented people. I think Asia won because it was something she wanted for a long time and she wasn't afraid to go out and give it a try. Yes, she wasn't the best singer in the competition, but we all know that the chances of her getting to sing a solo part in the group is very slim considering Nicole sings all of the time basically. From the beginning of the show, I've quickly noticed Asia. I tried to imagine others girls performing in the PCDolls group but I did not see any others fit like Asia did in my imagination.
She won because she is a team player, she performs better, she know how to entertain, she dances like a PCDoll, she fits like the right puzzle piece.
All of you people posting negative and childish comments about Asia, don't know crap about the entertainment industry. We cannot pick people on looks alone. PERFORMERS have to perform; and the next Doll must have had team mentality. Chelsea can't entertain a crowd (cute but too cold), Melissa can't be in a team without initiating conflict. Asia is honest, helpful to others, and best of all she performs like a Pussycat Doll.
I personally would sign Asia for a concert, an album and/or music videos (sounds like the PCDolls, doesn't it); I'd sign Chelsea to sing on the radio or in church and Melissa to play in a teen movie.

WOW! People are so vicious! Yes, I was pulling for Chelsea, she was just so likable and a truly amazing singer... and I loved Melissa R through out the competition... but Asia is incredible too! In the last few weeks, she truly stepped it up and outshined the other girls! She has a great voice, is a fantastic dancer, and an amazing overall performer, which makes sense for The PCD's. Once Melissa S was out, I was relieved to see that the 3 girls left truly deserved to be the last 3 standing! All the girls grew and accomplished so much! They all deserved to be where they were, and I think all will succeed as performers in a way that they can shine the brightest... So people, seriously stop hating!!!!

I was really hoping that Melissa R or Chelsea would win. I liked Asia and her confidence early on, but as each week went by, she started getting on my nerves. She just seemed to have such a chip on her shoulders. Melissa R was a terrific all around performer and really pretty. It's very possible she wasn't chosen because she looks so much like Nicole. And how could you not root for Chelsea? She just came from nowhere to become a real contender and she was just so likeable as a person. She has a terrific singing voice and really improved each week. Unfortunately, her dancing is what prevented her from winning. Most of the Pussycat Dolls are incredible dancers. That level of dancing is just not something you learn in a short period of time. Asia will actually fit into the group because she will basically be a backup who will rarely, if ever, sing anything solo. The judges weren't looking for someone to be the lead singer. They wanted someone who could perform and sing backup vocals. If Ncole ever decided to leave the PCD, there's only one other PCD capable of taking over lead vocals, and that's Melody. Melody's vocals are probably the best kept secret in that group. She could probably be successful as a solo artist if she ever chose to do so. All in all, I thought Melissa was the prettiest of the three and the best fit.

Congrats to Asia, she is a great dancer, but not too strong a singer. But then again I have heard worse. So go do your thing girl!!!! She has gone further and accomplished more than alot of other people. People can learn a lesson from her on perseverance and determination.

I knew it would be between Asia and Melissa R. from the first episode. I wouldn't have been mad either way. I do think Melissa R. is a better singer, but people are acting like Asia can't sing at all. She is still really good and I think she outshined Melissa R and Chelsea during Lady Marmalade. The reason I think she is a better pick is she's just a better performer all around. Whenever they all performed as a group, Asia always stood out, and I couldn't take my eyes off her. It seems like it comes so natural for her. Melissa R. is really good, and a cute girl, but I don't see a pussycat doll. And for the people who said Asia shouldn't have won just because she has a daughter, that's stupid! How can she tell her daughter she gave up her dream for her? Yeah, it'll be hard, but it's not impossible. So she made a mistake and got pregnant young. Who are you to tell her to just give up? Didn't you see Fantasia's story on Lifetime? :)

It's just sad that people have taken this show so seriously that they feel the need to insult this young lady, and call her names. Even Chelsea in an interview said, she was a great person, and helped her with her dancing WHENEVER SHE COULD. If you feel someone else should have won fine. But when you insult her, it shows that you dislike her for reasons having nothing to do with her performance on the show.

All i have to say is that ALL 3 deserved to win, they worked their ass' off..they all we talented, some more then others. where one lacked the others didnt. Asia won because she worked the stage, there wasnt one time i didnt see her work her ass off, put her heart into what she was doing, and the same for the other 2, but she won because she is a good performer, she was the best dancer hands down...and her singing can and will improve, as for everyone in the competition they all could have tuned and toned in different areas. no one was perfect. Im not saying that she was my choice...but I cant knock her for winning, cuz she did do her thang and she did it good...Her attitude might have stunk at times, but so did others, Melissa S was a total Bitch..im sorry but she was one i could not stand. In my eyes Asia kept it real with everyone, told it as she saw it. in my opinion, chelsea was the best. she's beautiful, sings really well, and regardless of what most people say, she Can dance. on stage, she danced just as well as the other girls who had training. she was also down to earth and humble. i didnt care for melissa at all so i have nothing to say about her. although i was rooting for chelsea, i can't say asia didn't deserve it at all. who knows, maybe she will be successful with the pussycat dolls.

I'm so not happy that Asia won...i really think it should have been Melissa R. I was hoping Asia didnt win. She overexagerrates on her singing, and tries way to hard. She needs to just let it flow. Chelsea was awesome, her singing and her dancing. Melissa R. should have won. I was really rooting for Chelsea, underdog, and she made so much improvement. Asia won, oh well, she'll be kicked out of the group eventually b/c of her nasty attitude.

Asia is sort of talented. But personally, I think that Melissa R. or Chelsea should have won. The reasons for this are:

1. Asia has a bad habit for tapping the microphone with her fingers when she sings. Although she was told to stop the habit, she never did!

2. Asia does not sing as good as Chelsea or Melissa R. As simple as that.

3. Asia had the advantage, since she was chosen to sing a song the audience liked during the last episode!

4. Asia practically used her child to win. She wanted the judges to sympathize her, so she brought up the fact that she has a child. If she really cared for her daughter, she would not compete to be a singer. Singers rarely have time to care for their children, esp. because of all the traveling 24/7.

5. Asia is not the best dancer. Melissa R. is. When you think about it, even Chelsea is as good as her. Although Chelsea does not dance well in rehearsals, she always shined during the real thing onstage.

6. Asia's personality is horrible. Everyone blamed the argument in the last episode on Melissa R. Asia was the one who started calling Melissa a phony. Sure, Melissa did went over the edge when she started dragging Asia's child in the argument. But you couldn't blame her. Asia was on her nerves. Asia should look at herself. She's the one who is phony i.e. pretending to be all sweet and innocent by helping Chelsea during one episode. However, she secretly hoped that Chelsea would lose. TALK ABOUT PHONY!

Since it is the judges' decision, I could not do anything about it. The only thing I could do is wish for the best for the Pussycat Dolls. Asia could really bring them down.

Melissa R so deserves to win.. I like PCD but with Asia it sucks (sorry Nicole) Atleast Nicole is going solo and the rest will be left with that whore Asia. the minute I saw ASIA, I felt she had IT- all the girls were very talented (they could seriously give the folks on american idol a run) I really liked the show and hope there will be other cycles- i like robin antin too- she's all business, but I think a real person with real vision for the PCD.

I never really listened to PCD but saw the show when I was flipping through channels. I was hooked. Fact is, not everyone is going to love the same girl. Had Chelsea won, people would be hollering "Asia" or "Melissa," etc. I am very happy with Robin's decision. I think Asia came with the best overall package and could join the group instantly. I wish her the best and look forward to seeing her performances.

Asia should not have won period. She is Very very attractive to me, but her singing was beyond horrible. I thought this was about talent? So does that mean that the Pussycat Dolls are a lip syncing band and talent is not important? I guess so. I guess its all about looks then. Asia was the best of all the girls i liked her from the first time she perfromed i wish her and hernew career the best of and her daugther is so cute.

I was surprised Asia made it so far. She's quite talented, but she has those horrible habits when she sings: tapping the mike, making "yucky" faces, and using all those inflections in her voice. I agree with the voice coach from the middle of the show who called that "fake singing". But since she'll mostly be in the background of the group, I guess I can live with that. But I think Chelsea deserved it most because I think she would have handled the fame the best. She's very grounded and down to earth. Asia already and diva and Melissa is a little too easily influenced.

I am actually glad that Asia won, I was rooting for since the first episode. I knew that they already knew what they were looking for, so the whole process was filtering and refiltering and keeping a few people around to keep it interesting. I like all three of the finalists, but Asia was the only one at the level of sexy as the other girls already in the group.
The most important thing was that Asia knew who she was as a person or at least displays that she knows herself at some level.

Chelsea was cool, she could sing pretty well, but she really needed to loosen up as a dancer. If she starts singing from her gut more and she becomes a better dancer, I think she will do well. Mel R. had a nice voice, but the major issue I saw was that she was too much of a Nicole mini-me. A little bit more individuality was needed and that was what Asia had over the other girls. It was a sure thing for me when I saw her perform "Wait A Minute" and saw her stand by the other girls.
I can't wait to see her perform with the other PCD girls now!

Like most of the posters here I think Asia was THE WORST possible choice. Guaranteed she won't last with her non-stop bitching, complaining, and starting stuff with other girls. She is the most fake poser of the whole show. And as the guy mentioned above, every time Ron Fair mentioned problems with her singing. She dances like a drag queen. And if she really wanted to help her daughter she would be there to raise her, not abandon her so she can be on work and tour 24/7. If she wasn't so fake she would have told the truth that it was for her own selfish self and NOT keep whining about her daughter. Her actions prove it all. She sucks!

Gwen Stefani and Nelly Furtado have kids too so what, and they bad mothers too? To call her selfish for probably setting her and her daughter up for the rest of their lives is ridiculous. Chelsea said she was a very good person, and helped whenever she could, that's the kind of person you want in a group. Chelsea saw Asia all the time, not just in edits like we did, so I'll take her opinion as to what kind of person Asia is. The judges were unanimous in saying she was a great performer, and that's what the PCD are.

I think that Asia deserved to win the competition, I think that all the girls were good and they gave to who they knew would fit in the best with the wild and crazy PCD. Im so happy that Aisa won and to all you that are hating and mad cause she won get over it. Just cause she had a baby when she was young dont mean that she dont deserve win, and it dont make her no hoe. I think that fact that she is out there working her ass off to provide a better living for her child makes her a hell of a mom. You go ASIA I wish you the best, Im glad you won.

Congrats Asia. I won't lie, I didn't like Asia, and I still don't really like her. (but I DO have RESPECT for her because she was willing to help out her fellow contestants.) I was a Chelsea fan and now that I think about it I'm glad she didn't win.
I'm sure Asia will fit in to be the prefect dancer for PCD while Chelsea will go off and have an AMAZING singing carrer, while Melissa R does her own thang. (We havn't heard the last from ANY of these ladies.)

Asia shouldn't have won. This was SOOO rigged. Here's why
1)Not a good singer. (and annoying habits to boot.)
2) Her dancing isn't THAT great. She always hits it WAY to hard. Seizure much? For someone who dances for a living, (cheerleader) you think she could do it better.
3) She's got a VERY unattractive personality, and therefore makes her look unattractive. ITS NOT A RACIST THING ITS NOT BECAUSE SHE IS BLACK! it's because she ACTUALLY isn't that pretty. The End.
4)She is VERY selfish. She abandoned her daughter while she went off to start a celeb. carrer? Disgusting. I don't care how many times she says its for her daughter. thats a LIE.
5) She's too short to fit in with the other girls. (i know i know nit-picking, but seriously it stands out SOOO BAD)
6) She's not very refined or educated. This is sexy apparently?? not.
7) BAD BAD BAD BAD Stage presence. Her songs were painful to watch. The yucky singing the cheesy dance bouncing, and those awful faces she'd make.

BUT she DID win. here's why she did
1) Not a good singer. (yup. we can't have anyone outshining Nicole right? plus it's a group so no one can really stand out too much)
2) Robin SET HER UP TO WIN. She got more singing parts, a faster song in the final episode. (Poor Melissa got a slow song, and it was even worse for Chelsea who got a PCD hardly ANYONE has EVER heard.)
I don't care if I'm "hating on Asia" SHE DIDN'T DESERVE IT. and it's a major injustice to PCD and the other girls.
Melissa R was so pretty and good all-around, BUT looked too much like Nicole and wasn't very unique. She was pretty, she could sing, she could dance BUT in a way that 10000 other girls could as well.
Now Chelsea was the girl who deserved to win. She was raw, and had an edge to her. She LOOKED like a doll. She can sing Xtina songs PERFECTLY, with that beautiful voice of hers and I think would've been the best choice to front the new PCD. And I don't know what everyone was saying.. she wasn't a BAD dancer! You could hardly tell any difference between her and the other girls. Plus she went from no-dancing skills to GOOD dancing-skills. Compare this to Asia or Melissa who have both had extensive dance training. Yep. Chelsea could easily gone to their level. She's a quick learner and very talented. everyone just had it in their head that she was bad, so they were blinded by her awesome improvements. Chelsea just wanted it more, and it's a shame she didn't get it. She was positive, professional, and kind to everyone (exception Melissa S...for obvious reasons.) She also practiced like her life depended on it. Her final song was the best one of the show! Plus she's the right height to fit in with the dolls XP!

CHELSEA SHOULD'VE WON! She's an amazing talent. All I can say is she deserves a solo carrer. I'm sure Chelsea is going to have an amazing journey ahead of her.

First of all, I have to admit that Melissa R. was the better looking girl in all aspects. The fact that Asia won won't bring her any closer from her daughter, so I don't know why she was crying about it, I mean she knew what she was getting into. She wanted a better life for her kid but it won't be so if she isn't there for her so anyway.. when I was waiting for the final decision, I knew Robin would say Asia. I was disappointed, but the way that Lil Kim and Robin were talking about Asia, they loved her so much and all that, I knew she would win. She's not that bad of a performer but i think she tries too much and the thing she does with her fingers on the mic was pretty annoying and her attitude like the fact that she didn't wanted to eat any vegetables and all those little things ..So anyway I think Mellisa R. should have won. As Asia, perhaps this is just the beginning for her to join PCD, just thinking that its going to be so much more work to be in PCD (maybe some sucking up to the rest of the group) to stay in, you never know, things can change, perhaps she can also be kicked out of PCD, anything can happen in this world, you just never know... As for Chelsea and Melissa R. I hope they become solo artists. I belive these are the best paths for all three of them. I personally am happy for Asia and the other two girls. If they weren't talented they wouldn't be in the top three anyways. So yes, they are all great at what they do. I did think that Melissa R. was going to win, but I guess Asia deserved what she got. She wouldn't win if she didn't and if the judges didn't see something in her. Sure, Asia has her ways, but we can't change the fact that she won the competition and that she is the next Pussycat Doll. Well it speaks volumes about PCD's satisfaction with Asia when you are already doing a Season 2 search for the next pussycat doll. To be quite honest, she could dance and could sing (when she wasn't yelling). However, you have to admit her dancing ability wasn't as smooth and graceful as Melissa R. and she couldn't reach the same musical notes as Melissa R. or Chelsea when singing. In my opinion, regardless of the way things were edited on the show, this is a competition. And in a competition the best should win. And she clearly didn't. I think Ron didn't like Asia from the beginning, in fact if you really want to dig deep watch the finale and you'll see Ron whisper to Robyn that Melissa R "reminds him of Nicole", if that isn't an ultimate compliment I don't know what is. Lil Kim obvously stuck with an "african american" which is very typical. And Robyn, who is a business women, needed a contestant with a "story". How much juicier can it get -- an 18 year old with a daughter? Unfortunately the best contestant didn't win, but you all those who are posting "hate" emails about Asia need to get over it. WE ALL KNOW SHE DIDN'T DESERVE TO WIN. SHE WAS NOT THE BEST. But, she is just a back-up dancer to PCD, her time is pretty much over since casting for Season 2 is now underway, and I'm sure record sales will drop substantially. In the next few months who will even remember ASIA? She's pretty much the same nobody who began the competition. Melissa R. however, I believe we have a lot to see and we will see, and her stage presence will demand that we remember.

Chelsea talks about how good a person she is, and how she helped her with her dancing whenever she could. Helped her during a competition mind you. That's the kind of person you want in a group. The girls also talk about how the show was edited, and how that's not how it really was.

I hope they involve the Pussycat Dolls in every decision after all, it is their band the girl's gonna be joining. Asian won't last in PCD. She has too much emotional baggage. She's a bitch. She whines too much. She complains too much. The PCD reality show was just the surface to all the hard work that she had to endure. She was complaining throughout the entire season in the show. Now she has to put 3 times more effort to all the dancing, choreographing, singing, traveling, tours, performances, public relations. She will be away from her daughter. She will break. Trust me. Now what kind of mother is willing to leave her child weeks at a time? There is no way that her daughter will be able to travel with her. Robin made a really bad choice. As for Mellisa and Chelsea, I hope they go solo and make it own their own. They definitely got the talent and maturity for it. I would not be suprised if both of them get a contract deal to make their own singles or album.

I'm am soo not happy with the finale. I don't think they made the right decision and Randa's right, the song choice was unfair. FYI, ALL PCDs have talent (check out Kim's resume and Carmit's credentials as a performer), it's not their fault Nicole is asked to sing lead vocals every time. There are youtube videos where other members are lead singers before they became a pop group.

Let's face the facts, Asia won over Melissa R. because Robyn was looking for a backup singer, not a lead singer. Melissa R. was too good and too much like Nicole to have won. She's better off being a solo performer! Asia was probably my least favorite out of all the contestants. She was already a diva before the last show. She's not that great of a singer and honestly, NOT a sight for sore eyes, even with thick makeup. Just my 2 cents.

Asia is very talented and deserved to win the show. However, I don't think she did the right thing by even agreeing to the show. She has a baby at home, which is her responsibility. She will now be on the road constantly, leaving the baby all to her parents, not taking the responsibility she needs to as a teenage mother who chose to keep the baby. She is clearly choosing fame over her child, which I think is wrong. That's all I have to say.

I thought Asia would win from the first episode i watched. Sure Chelsea could have had the Cinderella-esk story if she'd one, but Asia is a single mother. Raising a child is already hard without having to do it by yourself, I know. I'm not a single mom but my husband is a truck driver and works ungodly shifts sometimes. Trying to find the opportunity to go back to school or better yourself in any way, with a child to care for, is hard. I think this is a great chance for her to support her daughter, and besides that, she's very talented. I'm glad she won. Congratulations.

I was SOO proud of Asia and happy that she won. She has a lot of haters and critics, but not even half of those who hate on her can do a quarter of what she can do when it comes to performing. She is spicy, none the less, but Robin needed someone like that to add to the pizzaz of what the Pussycat Dolls are all about. People also have to understand that it was a stressful situation to be in so sometimes different things out of your character come out!! DON"T HATE!!! She is a great dancer, she can sing and be trained to sing better and she is a performer thats a triple threat. Melissa was good GREAT but not believable and Chelsea was awesome but she wouldnt have been able to keep up! Im so happy for Asia!! YAAYYY

So rather than join the hating, I'm only going to leave a little post. As a singer myself, the finale was a let down. The trio performance was incredible and *every* girl did fabulous. I can see why the judges were nervous. The solo judging truly wasn't on a fair field, 2 girls with ballads and one with an upbeat crowd pleaser, that wasn't fair odds.

All 3 girls could've made a group, easily, and become stars in their own right. I wish ALL THREE of you the best, Chelsea, Melissa R, and Asia, may fortune favor you.

I think Asia is a horrible choice! She can't sing at all! Plus she's really SCARY looking! It should've been Chelsea, she was an amazing singer and her dancing wasn't so bad. I would be soooooo embarrassed if my mother was a pussycat doll, i mean come on, that's not something you want your mom to be. Asia won't last at all. I know she will fail and they will have to make another season!

I do not understand how "Robin" can say how these PCD can serve as role models for young women. "Searching for your inner doll" as Robin says. I have seen most of these applicants and they are not encouraging for young little girls. Most of these are, probably exotic dancers. The way how the Pussy Cat Doll singers dress is truly degrading to young children with their croppy shorts, bikinis and showing most of their skin. Once I saw them for the first time, I thought they were strippers and whores. I’ve got a really big problem with the Pussycat Dolls, because I think they’re a really bad role model for little girls.
They’re too skinny, takes all their clothes off, don’t say anything, promote womanising and look like lapdancers as far as I’m concerned.
It’s a really bad message to be sending young women.
And not just for young women - but for young men. For them to believe that that’s what women are like in real life in such a hideous concept to sell to people. It’s just terrible.

i am not happy asia won. She was just so annoying and her dancing looked so bad. When she did her final solo she looked like she was constipated. And that annoying thing she does with her hand when she holds the mic... is so annoying too. I watched the show for nothing. Asia was not the strongest in any aspect. Melissa should of won it.

I was truly cheering on the underdog, Chelsea. I mean what courage it took her to go through all that. She also held herself with such poise when the all the crazy, childish drama went down. Chelsea has a unique look to her. Asia and Melissa were pre-fabricated clones who look like the lead singer! What? Let's have some variety! Chelsea is such a beautiful singer as well. She blew them away. I could not stand to look at Asia perform from her finger twitching on the mic, her head nodding to and fro and that pained I have to take a crap look on her face. I could not bare to look at her and we all want to look at The Dolls! I hope that Chelsea finds her way into the spotlight because she deserves it. Go underdogs of the world!

I think Asia was an excellent choice for the dolls. Melissa R waas scandilous, and two faced, at least with Asia you knew what you were getting. I am so surprised tha so many people would prefer someone who would stab you in the back without a moments notice than someone with some character. Come on America. duh!

I like all three girls. I think they should have started their own singing group. I was voting for Asia the whole time, but I thought Melissa R was going to win. I am glad Asia won. I am very proud of her and how she did it for her daughter. Even though she cannot sing like Chelsea, Asia has the whole package. She is pretty, she can dance, and sing. She is a preformer, which the PussyCat Dolls are. When she preformed with the PussyCat Dolls she blended right in. I think the judges made the right choice. I am so excited for Asia.

My first pick wasn't Asia. Of course, people watching the show look for personality and talent, but we all know, most people watching the show AREN'T experts. My first pick was Chelsea, all she did was get picked on by everyone else and showed them she could make it in the top 3. Her personality won me over. If I had to pick between Melissa R and Asia, it would've been my girl Asia, so I'm happy she won. According to the show, Melissa R didn't even know if that's where she wanted to be. If you want it bad enough you KNOW what you're there for. I bet she wants it more than anything now. And talking bad about every other competitor was pretty lame. So, congrats Asia!

At the starting of the show me and my friend were like "Asia is gonna win. Yea you can tell she is going to win." Now look, Asia is the next pussycat doll. I'm SO happy she won. =)

I'm sorry. But Asia SUCKS. She couldn't sing her way out of a wet paper bag. SURE Asia is a great performer...dancing and swinging her hair around...but when she opens her mouth to sing I cringe. I also hated the fact that she used her little daughter as a way to make people like her. I also think she tried to use her daughter to win....playing the sympathy card. I think it's disgusting. It's great she accepted her responsibility as a teen mother....but that doesn't mean you have to be a star to have your daughter look up to you. It's HORRIBLE that Chelsea didn't win....as she was the only one that could actually sing. Anyone can be taught how to dance. For the sake of the Dolls I hope the rumors aren't true that Nicole is going solo....and if it is true I hope they don't make Asia lead vocalist or the Dolls will be in serious trouble !!!!!!!!!

Asia was one of my favorite picks from the very beginning. She was amongst the three in the competition that I'd chosen as a favorite. I am in agreement with statements made in reference to the other two finalist being very talented and with a bit more coaching they will go far. But Asia had something they didn't have... THE TOTAL PACKAGE and she will mesh well with the Pussycat Dolls...If she was at all nervous during her debut performance with the Dolls I'd really want to see what she's like on a good day. CONGRATULATIONS ASIA... I'm a big fan.

I just cant resist saying this but I am so glad they didn't pick Melissa R. or (Melissa S.), you know the one from the third season of Making the Band. See I Liked Chelsea, because she can sing, but she doesnt have that good of a Dance Technique, but even if you could have practiced for your performance, or had some of your "Me" Time, you helped Chelsea with her Dance Moves, even though It's a competition for yourself, you helped her.. lol, you know what the funny thing is? if you replaced the PCD with 6 drag queens, most ppl wont even notice. its hard to figure out why someone would want to be a PCD, all they are is 6 pole dancers, even the contestants dont even know why. even if they tried to audition for top model judges would say "ugh, to skanky, send em' over to robin (founder of PCD)". even one of the girls were saying maybe she didnt wanna be a PCD, wow, shocking, doesnt every little girl want to be a stripper? honestly, all they do is shake their booty, their tits and move their hair around in a circle, you call that dancing? wow get an education will ya? anyways, im done, im gonna go check out another blog and see what kind of bull shit other sad losers are putting. and oh, i know most of you are going to tell me to get a life but, take a look in the mirror, and you're the ones watching this show and waisting your tuesday night, or wednesday who gives a shit really?

I think that people really need to understand that Asia won because she can sing and dance, them other two couldn't really hold a note, besides this PCD reality show for for skinny chics anyway I am a thick girl and I can sing everylast person on that show under the table. They weren't looking for solo artist. If you can carry a tune you can be in a group and blend in with the other 30 people. Besides the lead singer is the cutest and I guess the best singer, seeing that I've never heard anybody else sing.

Congratulations, Asia! However, I feel that the odds were set for the other girls as soon as they were assigned their song. Okay, Chelsea may not have the moves, but she does have a great voice. In addition, Melissa as the moves and a nice voice. Melissa & Chelsea truly surpass the competition because they proved that they had the capability of adopting to any situation. Asia in the other hand is more like a groupy. Even at the end, why didn't they put Asia more in the middle of the PCD performance, instead they had her to far into the back that you only noticed her when the camera was on her face.

I wish them all the best! Remember, many times the ones that don't make it outshines the winner! For example, American Idol, America's Next Top Model, & other similar reality TV shows.

I'm not sure if I will see the "next search", because I feel that Robin made all the decisions and disregarded the others judges opinions. I know she created the PCD, but the judges many times expressed their concerns not just with the other contestants - also with Asia. Diversity is great, but that is not why we should promote or give people opportunities.

I'm reading some of these comments, and some of them are really encouraging, and some would really bite peoples' heads off. Honestly, i was really hoping that Melissa Reyes would win. I really liked her.. haha. Asia had a pretty nasty temper, regardless of her backstory. I dont like asia to much she dances well but mellisa r had it all looks dance and she could sing but asias voice was tooo stronggg i was shocked on what they picked i thought it was a joke. But shell fit in well but mellisa r. will proabably get further in there carrer.

I didn't see the finale. But it seems like Melissa R. went too far with the situation and bringing Asia's daughter into the arguement. And for who should have won? At first I thought that Melissa R. should have won because she did have the package except the quality too stand out in the group, She didn't make her self known because being in the pussycat dools isnt just performance it's attitude and being in the PCD Nicole would have over powered her(which i think is totally wrong and what's the point of a group and the girls don't even get a chance to sing and adding another girl is basically taking up more space on stage not hating on Asia AT ALL) but Robin should just break up the goup and give Nicole her solo eventhough noone's going to buy it but it's just holding the girls back from shining which is exactlywhat robin was looking for and how is Asia going to shine or stand out when she does'nt get a chance to seeing that she obviously think that Nicole is better than the rest of the girls. It's like 16(exxagerating) girls in the PCD's and how is one more goin to help. anyway it's time for me to go. GOOD LUCK CHEALSEA AND KEP YOUR HEAD UP AND MELISSA S. Asia had a command solo performance. She sung, she danced her butt off, worked the audience and the entire stage. Sorry people she is also very beautiful. Her first performance with the PCD's proved that she will be a good fit. Not a perfect fit, a good fit, because no one is perfect. Not even you (the one reading this blog. Chelsea is gorgeous but you needed more than looks. She also sounded nasally,and timid. Melissa R. did not and does not have a command performance or presence. It was a mediocre solo performance and she is Cute. What is cute? Anybody can be cute. Asia was in a competion people she was not trying to make friends. She was focused on becoming the next PCD! Robin will not regret her decision in choosing Asia. Asia was not phony nor immature she wanted a cheese burger and said so, and got it. (remember she is only 18 and not a sheltered 18.) When she has to make do and follow the PCD rules, she will. Besides she catches on real fast and is observant. Congrat Asia. Best Wishes in your endeavors Chelsea & Melissa.
