Ooo! Interesting idea. I kind of like Jc's take, though, in that you have your own bit. An entertainment snippet of sorts. Then you could positively affect the viewership on it's base scale, and maybe (avoiding the nauseating tabloid ET garbage) help hype up some of the other shows.
Like... 10 minute mini-reports on show/talent/CW related goings on? A weekly half hour? I'd like to hear about CW charity works, the random Padalecki antics, and fun on set stories.

Yes! Excellent idea!!!!! We want to see...

After studying the effects of making underground fads into mainstream, I can honestly say the concept will not sitck around. There are several moments in advertising history, which companies tried to capitalize on pop-culture. Pop-Culture is the rejection of main stream. Once a pop-culture is used in main-stream advertising or media, the generation they are targeting find other interests.

Sprite and Hot Topic tried to use pop-culture to advertise their products. What they attempted to do is use what younger teens and adults liked, and to turn it into a way to gain a larger audience. Eventhough it worked for a short time, the younger adults and teens ended up changing gears in hopes to find an interest that is not mainstream.

Stevie Ryan makes me giggle in my pants ;-)

The CW Source should get its own show.
