Smallville: Big Bad Bracket, Round Three
Whew, there were some tense match-ups in this last round! But first, the decisive victories -- Green Arrow shot Zod down, Flash ran rings around Cyborg, and Zoners never stood a chance against Bizarro. Plus, we've discovered true Love really doesn't conquer all -- it fell before the onslaught of the Justice League.
Scheming Billionaires had to work a bit to take out Static Powers -- hey, we saw that in the episode. And Krypto-Freak Fight Club had plenty of fight in it, but eventually succumbed to Mind Control.
That leaves two nail-biting matches. The Phantom Zone just barely edged out Lex's 33.1, winning by only 7 votes. But the most exciting match was the epic conflict between Martian Manhunter and Red Kyptonite. Our Red Rock was finally able to defeat the detective from Mars -- but only by five votes. Whew!
We now advance to Round Three. Who will feel the thrill of victory, and who will suffer the agony of defeat? Your votes will decide. Find out how the bracket works, and start voting below!
Green Arrow: Our boy Ollie has no super powers to speak of. But he’s got great aim, a quiver full of trick arrows, and an impressively form-fitting leather outfit.
Flash: He’s fast, he’s flirty, and he’s got a wicked sense of humor. We’re glad he’s one of the good guys.
Red Kryptonite: This snazzy rock brings out with worst in Clark Kent and the people around him – which leads to come of the best episodes. Hooray for lowered inhibitions!
Bizarro: "I’m you – only Bizarre." Ooooooh. Our craggy metal-faced friend kicked Clark’s butt and seems set to take over the world. Plus, he can fly – something our hero hasn’t managed yet.
Justice League: Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman and Green Arrow are formidable on their own. Together, they could be unstoppable.
Mind Control: On the upside, you can get people to do what you want. On the downside, you might accidentally make them scour off their own skin or attempt to kill Lex Luthor. Actually, that last one might not be so bad…
Scheming billionaires: What’s more dangerous than a evil genius? And evil genius with enough money to build secret facilities, create super-soldier armies, blackmail and kill enough people to inhabit a small town, or just do whatever they damn well please. They couldn’t have spent their money collecting stamps or something?
Phantom Zone: This trans-dimensional prison kept the worst of the worst sequestered in a desolate land. Bummer about Clark opening up a door, then…
