Life Is Wild: Games People Play
They've made it through a stint in jail, but Katie and Oliver's relationship was tested once again -- this time on the soccer field. On last night's Life Is Wild, the newish couple faced off in the girls vs. boys match at school -- and Oliver couldn't handle the fact that Katie was better than he was at soccer. That was bad enough, but then Katie couldn't handle the fact that Oliver couldn't handle it, so she faked an injury so she wouldn't have to play. Her logic? If she played for the girls and won, Oliver wouldn't like her anymore. But if she played and deliberately lost the game for the girls, she'd be letting her teammates down. So she gave herself an out so she wouldn't have to play at all.
That didn't sit right with Jo, though, and she reminded Katie that the most important thing was that Katie still liked herself. Forget insecure boys! So Katie told Oliver the truth, which was good, but her timing was kind of awful -- he was on his way over, toting DVDs to nurse her through her "injury." And he didn't take the news so well.
Meanwhile, Jesse didn't have to make up an injury -- he plummeted to the ground from the side of a cliff while on a reckless climb with new buddy James, ending up with a minor concussion and plenty of cuts and bruises. As if that wasn't bad enough, Jesse was more confused than ever about his love life. One minute he was telling Mbali to take a chance with him, and the next he was getting closer with Emily. What do you think -- should Mbali give Jesse more of her time, or is she already too involved with her man to give Jesse another minute? And is he being unfair to both women, or is all fair in love, war, and South African potential romances?
Fortunately (if you like them together), Katie and Oliver made up at the end -- but only after she scored the winning goal for her team -- a goal that he couldn't block. Grudgingly, he approached her later and explained his behavior. They seem okay... for now.
We get that Katie's different from the other girls Oliver's dated. But maybe he could try appreciating that instead of making her feel bad about it! We're just saying. i agree! Jesse and Mbali should end up together. It's so obvious they are falling in love with each other and they have great chemistry. You can feel their longing and see their desires for each other even behind the humor they display.As for Katie, even though her hearts beats for Oliver and he is very cute, true love lies in her friend Tumelo.

i love this show!!! hope tumelo ends up with katie and jesse gets to be with mbali she so beautiful.
