Crowned Recap: Angela Leads the Crotch Parade
Last night's episode of Crowned officially divided the mansion into good versus deliciously evil. In a surprise turn of events, frozen face Patty and her sinister daughter Laura weren't the ones leading the brat pack; Angela and Tenia have taken over as the queen bitches. While the nicer ones are crying over the dismissal of The Realists (who will always be Silent but Deadly in our hearts), the bad girls were having a dance party.
On last week's show the daughters were in charge; this week the mothers had to take command as they picked out new evening gowns for their team to wear and then act as art director for a mother/daughter photoshoot. Their guest judge was fashion designer, Nick Verreos, of Project Runway fame. He was both adorable and straight-shooting, telling Angela that her first dress looked like she had just had sex in it for three hours before showing up. Things didn't get much better when she had a wardrobe change since the dress she chose literally had a slit that went up to her crotch to the point where cameras had to blur out her no-no parts.
Other teams fared better as Ada and Christan finally changed their names from Hot and Not to the Blessed Beauties. Blessed they were, as they received top marks for the evening gowns Ada picked out.
Back at the mansion, the nice girls settle in for some relaxation and gripe release. Hollis tells the other girls that she didn't come to the show to fight and have bad feelings, so she needs to avoid the people in the other room, speaking of course about the mean girls. Meanwhile, Angela, Tenia and some of the other evildoers are eavesdropping on their conversation via the house intercom system. Angela decides that she is going to be confrontational and starts to yell at Hollis saying that she is a phony who talks about people behind their backs and how dare she do that...which is pretty interesting considering last week's episode where Angela decided to have some words about the Goal Getters' noses having bumps. We seem to remember a reference to "The Humpty Dance" being made along with a proclamation of, "If you have flaws, I'm going to point them out." Well, honey, people living in rented-out glass mansions shouldn't be throwing stones.
In an effort to stand up for her daughter, Gina comes to the rescue and tells Angela to back off. Angela starts verbally attacking Hollis's state of grace, forcing Gina to yell, "YOU SHOWED YOUR CROTCH OVER AND OVER AND OVER!" When the dust settled, Gina and Hollis consoled each other through their tears.
The next day, the mothers and daughters had their photo shoots and the mothers had to stage the entire production. Poor Felicia and Pamela continued being desperately out of place while Ada and Christan continued with their climb to the top, taking the best picture out of all the contestants.
In the desashing ceremony, the two teams in last place were the Diamond Dolls and the Tomboy Queens. In previous ceremonies, the second to last team was asked to take the bedazzled scissors to cut the sash off of the last place team, but this time around, the Tomboy Queens had to *gasp* desash themselves! Ooooh the horrors! Truth be told, we were kind of over them anyway. We tried and tried to like them and see through the diamond in their rough, but really, they just never evolved. Also, we hate to admit it, but we really missed Patty and Laura in this episode. Their campiness is too good to not have air time.
What did you think of this week's episode? Do you think a larger fight is brewing? Has your pick for who the overall winner will be changed?

Is it me or does anyone else wonder if this whole Angela and Tania thing was a farst for ratings?

I can't stand tenia and angela even though i love seeing the drama i just think that they need to back off they are a bunch of hater's and they are sooo jealous of the other girls there well... i guess its not their fault that they don't look like men... and the laura girl her cheeks are so fat... when she closes her mouth it looks like her head is going to burst! So i really don't know why she acts like she's wayy better than everyone else because she's totally not.. there's atleast 4 other girls there that are alot better looking and have wayy better personalities than her and her mother needs to stand up for herself n beat that girls butt i would never disrespect my parents the way she does her... but then again her mom looks like shes gotten sooo much plastic surgery done on her face that she can't see straight. But oh well i can't say much i think the drama is what makes the show soo interesting and girls are going to be girls they ARE going to fight n bring each other down especially when alot of money is on the line.

Why would people be so mean? Angela is such a hateful person, her daugher seems ok. As a mother she needs to show how individuals should behave, but instead she is so insecure and just keep talking behind everybody's backs. Just get a life Angela!

I CAN'T STAND ANGELA AND TANIA. THEY ARE SO TRIFFLIN. I WISH THEY HAD A REAL "BLACK" MOTHER DAUGHTER TEAM TO PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACES. THEY MAKE BLACK WOMEN EVERYWHERE LOOK BAD. THEY HAVE NO CLASS. AND POOR ANGELA SHE NEEDS TO GO GET THE REAL WOMAN AND GET "HIMSELF" ANOTHER WEAVE

I don't like Angela or her old tina turner wig(circa the ike turner days). She doesn't have a polished leg to stand on and resorts to emotionally beating up other worthy contestants. Her only hope is to make all the other girls feel insecure and off their game.
