Here comes some crappy reality tv show on fridays.........lucky you still have supernatural or else it's bye bye CW11.........

I have been a very loyal patron of the whole WWF/WWE enterprise for many years. I was excited to see that Smakdown was headed to the CW after the UPN & CW merger. Then, after the network merger, moving from Thursday to Friday. I BELIEVE, that the CW & WWE are making a big mistake. With new shows appearing on all networks on Friday nights, the CW will fall in ratings on Fridays. Therefore, I enjoyed having Smackdown on the CW, and I will continue to be a loyal fan to both the CW & WWE.

OMG! Smackdown is the only thing i watch with the exceptions of movies on tbs and other channels that show movies. I don't have cable so i can't watch USA or any other wrestling channels! PLZ! KEEP SMACKDOWN!!!!

What a horrible decision by the CW network. How and why would they even think of doing this. they have had great ratings for a Friday night prime time spot!! SHAME ON YOU CW!!! WWE FORVER I suggest you re think this decision!!!

I am pretty excited that Smackdown is leaving. I have satelitte and I can't get the CW and I hate that But wherever they I go sorry...

Nope it is moving to "My Network TV" (Channel 9 on basic cable or no cable at all) It is basically going back to its original channel. Still stucks because I'll be pissed if they put it on a Tuesday or something (It will interfere with my other shows =o)

i always watched smackdown even when it used to be on thursdays and when they put on fridays. who eveer is in charge or taking smackdown off the cw network needs to leave it alone cause i dont even watch mytv 20. i watch cw 50 and thats where smackdown needs to stay even if it has been on tv for a long time and so what if it has been on the cw network for 2007 and 2008, i would rather see smackdown on cw 50 than any other televison station!

Eh, Smackdown will do fine wherever it goes. I'm personally pretty excited... I don't get the CW, so I haven't been able to see the show for a while now, and I miss Taker and Edge. Plus, I hear Smackdown's got a pretty good midcard, which is something that Raw falters at, with so many former world champions on the scene.

With the draft coming up, it's possible that some of my favorites may be leaving Raw for Smackdown (particularly Michaels or Jericho), so it's comforting to know that it'll soon be on a network I actually have access to. :)

please dont change wwe smack down to a new channel because i would not be able to watch my favorite supperstar the animal batista. but please dont move smack down please. and im the biggest fan of the wwe and the animal batista. please tell the chair man vince kenedy mcmahon to let smackdown stay in the cw

i have been watching smackdown for years and i have to tell you the vickie and edge thing is getting to disgusting for me all that woman cares for is edge an chavo if you do switch it take her off and put a new general manager on. that is what i think yall should do.Smackdown would be awhole lot better if you took vickie off. maybe you will get more viewers. and also bring the undertaker and rey mysterio back. I thought wrestling was a sport not a soap opera if i wanted to watch a soap opera then i could watch those during the day time.if you dont take vickie off then you are going to lose a lot of fans.

Well its like any other tv show I like it changes nights, then changes stations and then its gone into thin air. No matter what any of us say its going to happen and I guess that means for those of us that cant get that station we wont know whats going on on smackdown,,,,,then again the whole Vickie and Edge thing is going to ruin the show anyway!

In case you haven’t heard, Smackdown is moving from The CW to MyNetworkTV. We’ve now learned the official debut on Smackdown on its new channel: look for it on MyNetworkTV starting October 3.

The show will receive a special kick-off with a unique extravaganza: For the first time ever, WrestleMania will be televised, courtesy of MyNetworkTV:

The network will be featuring highlights from the event, including the contest between Floyd Mayweather and The Big Show, on Thursday, October 2.

i am shocked. i think this is so retarted. i would follow them were they would change to. i watch it every friday. Smackdown is the best thing on this network without it the ratings will go down.

I've grown up watching Smackdown, I love the show. The drama, the intensity, the family gatherings on Friday nights... are you going to take this away from me wwe? Why would they remove smackdown from the CW the ratings were good. It was good for those people w/o cable/satellite television. All them superstars cannot go back to RAW with a 2 hour spot. I hope they don't use that time for more reality shows because I will not watch.

I think SmackDown should stay on the CW11.I feel it stands out of all theother shows.In my opion I think its fun watching it on the CW11.When I did not have cable I couldnt watch RAW or ECW.But SmackDown was on channel 11 so you dont really need that much cable to watch SmackDown on the CW11.

I didn't watch smackdown..... until CW put it Fridays. Respect to everyone and to the CW, i do watch most CW shows like supernatural, Simpsons, Reba, Two and a Half Men, etc. but again, as a loyal fan to CW and in opinion to everyone else, I believe that taking Smackdown from the air would be a huge mistake. Think about it, if not all the above opinions say "No" to changing it. I truly believe that the CW had a saying in the outside world, thanks to Smackdown. It is what has made CW popular. Now also, think of your loyal fans, like me, and the fans of the WWE, you will put them down, and who knows, you must lose ratings!!! Listen to your loyal fans because, if you don't know, WWE Smackdown fans are also your fans because Smackdown is aired on the WWE. Think about it.

i also believe that raw should be on cbs instead of USA.

cw will not hold smackdown after like, what, september? i know one thing, they say it might end up on USA, but that aint happening. if i'm correct, it will end up on my network tv, the FORMER UPN network.

Why would they do this to their fans? I truly think its unfair. I have watched this with my daughter and son who turned me onto it.
We call each other and say hay did you know this one was comming up!. I like it also on the CW, as we live in the mountains,and do not have cable, only the local channels. Please CW and SmackDown do not do this to your FANS! Or at least if you do. Please do it on another local channel. ive been watchin smackdown sence it aired on cw,its a show that me and my son watch together and have a fun time watching.its a shame cw took it off air. what can cw put on that is as good as wwe smackdown a few coby game's thats lame!!!!

its not a good decision for the CW or WWE. the show got good ratings. And some people like me only have basic cable and not channels like USA. WWE would only lose viewers. whatever happens, i hope somehow ill still be able to watch Friday Night Smackdown.

I have a good idea why it is leaving. It is because on a night like tonight when ESPN has an NBA game one nationally the local station in DC WDCW has preempted Smackdown to show the same game covered by Comcast Sports net. Comcast has 2 channels on their network for sports as well as MASN. This is no the first time that this station has preempted Friday Night Smackdown for the Wizards, Caps or Nationals. Smackdown is probably the highest rated program on the CW but yet it gets bumped off by local sports and I would figure the other CW channels do the same for their local sports teams. So rather then watching FSN tonigh they moved it over to Staurday night same time.

I think that the cw11 shows way to many "chick" shows. They should renagotiate and leave smackdown on channel 11! As a matter of fact, cw should add raw, ecw, and tna! I wonder where they are moving???? They should STAY!!!

I don't like the idea of changing smackdown to anthor channel or network. I don't like it because we don't have all the cannels like 23 to 67 we only have 1 to 22 and 100 to 1010.So please don't change it.

To be all honest, I thought Smackdown was becoming boring and predictable. Maybe the CW could try some new shows on Friday, which could be moved to other days if successful.

I'm surprised the FNS is leaving the CW. Does this mean the network's tanking?

OMG!!!! They cant get rid of friday night smackdown. I watch it every friday. i love it so much!!!! how can they do that, i like other shows, but on fridays i only watch friday night smack down!!! they cant take it off. i know alot of people who would agree with me. its a good show and my baby sister likes to grab pillows and wrestle them. my mom doesnt approve of the show ( yes im younger then 14 ). so she doesnt approve, but she says " as long as it keeps you quiet i dont care if you watch it ". so i really dont think they should get rid of friday night smackdown.

I think Smackdown probably wanted out because the CW is such a lousy station! They kill their good shows (Supernatural, Smackdown, Smallville) to make room for Teenybopper shows that don't make any money... they seemto hate shows that Men could enjoy as well... what is wrong with these people?

I would solove ot see Supernatural on CBS... they'd probably stand a fighting chance!

I myself am a big fan of wrestling. The only shows that I really watch at all on CW is "Smackdown", "Smallville", and "Supernatural". I also watch "Gossip Girl" on occasion, and my fiance and I have watched "Crowned" together. And that's pretty much about it. But if "Smackdown" does move to another network, then I will probably watch the show their. I have two VCR's and I tape my other favorite shows on those. Such as "Ghost Whisperer", "Moonlight", and "Numb3rs" on CBS, and "Flash Gordon" on Sci-Fi, and "Monk" and "Psyche" on USA network. I would like to see "Smackdown" stay with CW. Because if they did go to USA Network in the same timeslot, then it would probably be the end of one of my other favorites, being either "Monk", or "Psyche". And I would hate to see one of them go. I think it's great that SmackDown! is finally done being on network tv. Its time that SmackDown gets it regual night back and thats thursdays not fridays. This is the CW's loss and a cable networks gain.

My kids used to watch when they were younger, but we haven't watched wrestling for years. I hope they find another home quickly.

Honestly this sucks cause people who don't have cable/satellite will not be able to watch any of the wwe wrestling shows if they move it to usa or some other cable/satellite channel and I been watching smackdown and raw for quite a while now probably bout 8-12 years and since I lost satellite I have to watch raw in spanish on saturdays and the only other wrestling I get to see is on friday it's the cornerstone of my evening on friday night and the fact that the CW is getting rid of it seems to me to be just plain stupid plus I have to agree with A.Crowder on one thing all this does is free up space for all the trashy crap now. Honestly alot of the shows on tv these days is just plain garbage IE Pussycat dolls,Crowned,One Tree Hill,Gossip Girls and numerous others that aren't on CW33 atleast wrestling has some class and doesn't go as far as some of the other shows and honestly I'd have thought that the cw33 would have wanted to keep a higher quality of show on their channel but obviously not and the fact they are getting rid of their biggest rated show just goes to show they don't seem to have very good business sense.

i am shocked why would smackdown leave the cw i watch it every friday i would like it to stay on the cw because i am used and i'm sure i'm not the only one who is used to it.

NOOO. I love Smackdown. Me and my little sister watch it and it is a great bonding experience for us. I will be devastated if this means the end of smackdown. there is too much great talent to be lost. I really dont care if it leaves the cw, if it moves to another channel i will just start watching that channel, but lately Smackdown is one of the only shows i watch on the cw, supernatural being the other show. I have a feeling that the cw will lose valuable viewers. the stuff that is being shown on this channel is really going down hill. i mean,The pussycat dolls? really.

My son loves this show and watches it every Friday. We don't have cable so he can't watch it on Monday nights. He will be very disappointed if it is not on our local stations. He won a contest from CW4 for tickets to Monday night RAW in our city. So that was pretty cool.

I hink you should keep it in THE CW because it's that much more easier...of people who love WWE.It is one of the most reconized channels because of the FRIDAY NIGHT MAIN EVENTS...SMACK DOWN.Please don't change the network.

I never watched Smackdown, but from what I have seen in the ratings it's pretty much The CWs #1 show. It doesn't sound to me like it was The CWs decision at all they just made it seem like it was a mutual decision. I really only watch Smallville and One Tree Hill on The CW. I used to watch Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, but yet The CW made a terrible decision in cancelling those two shows. They were smart and very entertaining. I just hope they keep OTH and Smallville around along with Supernatural.

From what I hear CBS is advertising Supernatural, and if that's any good indication, it could be byebye CW, hello CBS for the show. Plus Smallville is in the gutter with ratings, and ANTM can't go on forever.

I am shocked!. I don't watch and would never watch even if you paid me, but Smackdown was one of the very, very, very few things that worked on the CW. I figured they would hold on to that for as long as they can. I am definitley surprised. Season 3 for The CW will be an interesting one. It might be even more troublesome than the first two.

My 12 grandchildren and I watch the show every Friday night. Why would they take this show off and leave on some of the trashy things like Pussycat Dolls and other shows that have no value except to encourage lying, betrayal and sex. I'm so getting tired of the new format on TV channels of trashy and sexy programming in the "family hour", i.e. the aforementioned Pussycat Dolls, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girls (about high school girls sleeping with multiple partners for gosh sakes), Crowned, the Game, Girlfriends, etc., etc., etc. This channel used to be the one to watch when the other stations couldn't be because of the same thing. Some of us don't have cable or dish so we have very little in the way of family programming. Yes, while some find it distatesful, Friday Night Smackdown was a good family show, believe it or not. Lessons to be learned and taught while you watched it. Thank you
