Girlicous Recap: Star Quality

With only six girls left to fight it out for the three coveted roles in Girlicious, tensions have risen to a new level. Chrystina continued her downward spiral of feeling bad for herself especially after having been put in a group with her arch enemies, Tiffanie and Charlye. It seems as though she thinks the only person she is competing against is Charlye, which is absolutely ridiculous -- she's competing for a spot in the group with everyone, and most of the girls are more talented than she is.

Nichole, Charlye, and Tiffanie

This week's theme was Star Quality, and the hopefuls got to shoot their first music video. Robin Antin brought her brother in to direct the girls aboard a boat as they lip-synched their way through the song they recorded in the previous Vocal Expression challenge. Carrie did her best to sex it up for the camera but fell a little short when it came to the lip-synching. Charlye smacked it up, flipped it and rubbed it down -- winning this week's challenge and gaining immunity for the elimination.

Now, this week's elimination challenge is a bit of a mystery to us. Both of the groups did a great job singing the songs they were given; it was the first time we felt it wasn't exactly clear who should be sent home. We get that Carrie's incredible vocal talents are better off in a solo gig - the producers have been setting that up since the beginning. All of the judges were loving Chrystina's performance, and we just don't get it. When the other two girls were flashing their smiles as the final notes left their mouths, Chrystina was pouting. Her vocals don't have anything special going on and she is never consistent but Lil' Kim was eating it all up. On the other side of the coin, the judges were coming down on Natalie's performance, and this is the one time we thought she actually did a great job (regardless of how much we don't want to admit that).

In the end, it was Carrie who had to hang up her boa, and with any luck she'll be able to find a solo career. We've got our picks for who's going to make it to the very end -- and since Natalie and Chrystina seem to be in a world of their own, our money isn't on them. What do you think? Do you think the right girl went home? Also, did you find it weird that Natalie and Chrystina were taking a bath together -- without swimsuits?

I think Chrystina needs to go home yes she is pretty and she can do a lil something with her singing but if every time she doesn't hear what she wants to hear and they have to give her a pep talk to make her do better she is not ready to be in this industry they will eat her alive .
