The Sourcies: Best Love Triangle
We should have known that a competition with both One Tree Hill and Supernatural would get heated! Once again, these two shows battled it out in Best Slapstick last week, leaving Reaper and Everybody Hates Chris in their dust. It was close -- Brooke and Peyton's stuffed animal toss vs. Sam imagining Dean's multiple deaths -- but Supernatural ultimately triumphed by a few hundred votes. Congratulations to Supernatural for its second Sourcies victory this season (Supernatural also won Men in Suits)!
Today's category is Best Love Triangle. Even though we've seen these scenes before, we still cringe while watching the characters endure such heartache! Just imagine some of these painful moments: watching the girl you just realized you fell for making out with her old boyfriend... who just happens to be your best friend? That's exactly what happened to Chuck on Gossip Girl. Or what about seeing a necklace you thought was meant for you around another girl's neck? Ouch -- that's what Andie on Reaper dealt with. And we haven't even touched on realizing the man who made you happy wasn't who you thought he was -- Smallville's Lana, finding out Clark was really Bizarro -- or showing up to declare your feelings only to find out that your true love has proposed -- to someone else (Lucas/Lindsey/Peyton on One Tree Hill)?

I just caught an old episode of OTH on Soap Net and I am HOOKED! I started watching the series from the beginning and so far I am not disappointed. I am only through Season 2, but I can't see how this Lindsey, Lucas, Peyton triange could EVER be better than Brooke, Lucas, Peyton. Maybe I'll be proven wrong when I get that far.... Either way, I am LOVING OTH!!!

to response to someone that said peyton always steals lucas,i have to remind that peyton stole lucas' heart long time before brook and lindsay,so its not her fault that lucas always loves her better and more than the other ones.anyway,i hate love triangles on oth but i gusse its the best option here,so im glad oth won(too late for voting!)

I hate the L/L/P love triangle, but OTH is my favorite show, so I'm gonna have to say L/L/P.(Should be B/L/P though).

So the Chuck/Blair/Nate triangle was a good one, but that moment on OTH when Peyton finds out Lucas proposed to Lindsey was so heartbreaking and such a shocker that I had to vote for it.

I think Gossip Girl should win but I guess OTH has to win something. Afterall, Supernatural isn't in this category to take it from them! Go Supernatural all the way!!!!!

For those of you who want the Lucas/Peyton/Brooke love triangle they have already said that they are having things that were done this past year. That triangle is over on OTH.

Lucas & Peyton are SO BORING now! I can't imagine why I liked them before sadly.
I actually find myself wanting Lucas & Brooke, which I never thought would happen. They've matured and their relationship is beginning to have real-life meaning.
So I'm going to vote for the Smallville triangle!

He ends up with Lois, and no

Thank god, CW source was smart for onces, and not include Peyton/Lucas/Brooke, because guess what BLers there isn't one. That ship has sailed. Also that triangle is the Bermuda Triangle the worse one on TV history. And that's saying a lot. Stop crying because saint Brooke wasn't include. Do you guys cry over everything. Man, are u guys bitter!
Even thou I hate LLP one, it's better than other one.

The GG love triangle is the best. I'm sick of the love triangles on OTH. This was fresh and different. Plus, it all started with drunken revenge in the backseat of a limo. How sweet is that?!
Nate's smirk in that scene still cracks me up every single time.

I'm a fan of both OTH and GG, but I have to agree with Charlotte.
Really, the Chuck/Blair/Nate love triangle is by far the best out of those 4 and besides, the Lucas/Peyton storyline is so old and stale!

C'mon, there's no way One Tree Hill should win. The whole Lucas and Peyton thing is just getting ld now. Either stay together, or stay apart. Either way... MOVE ON!
Chuck/Blair/Nate should definately win. It's the only one worth even mentioning. Everyone who watches it loved how Chuck was actually in love with Blair. VOTE FOR THEM! Not for the most annoying storyline of the year!

I don't get how Smallville has a love triangle when everyone knows Clark aka Superman's heart belongs to Lois Lane. A waste of drama.
As for One Tree Hill, love the show but we all know Lucas and Peyton will end up together so the Lindsey insert was just the writers trying to create yet another pointless drama. Scott and Haley are doing just fine to be entertaining without that kind of drama.
I don't really consider myself a fan of Gossip Girl since i only watch it to pass time; but i would honestly say that it wins the best love triangle where Chuck, Blair and Nate are involved.
As for Reaper, seriously, we know the loser is going to get the girl so that overused cliched storyline doesn't count as a love triangle.
Anyway, that's my thought. Love triangles are only used by writers who can't come up with anything creative and are just trying to stall.
